Well, what we can do now is try to restore your Moto X back to stock using a firmware so that all bad partitions on the device are fixed and it doesn’t bootloops and restarts normally.

What’s Hard-brick and Soft-brick?

If your Moto X can boot into bootloader mode, then it means it’s a soft-brick. If it cannot, then it’s hard-bricked.
Cases of soft-brick:
Bootloop: Your Moto X is not restarting properly and gets stuck at logo, and reboots again and again on it. Mostly occurs when you flash something bad.
Corrupted but working: Your Moto X can’t power On, but is entering the Bootloader mode and/or Recovery mode on pressing the key combinations. That is, it’s responding to key combos, at the least.

Before you begin with the instructions below, make sure your android device is adequately charged — at least 50% battery of the device, and your desktop PC or laptop is connected to a power source or has enough battery backup to go through the whole process below.
STEP 0: CHECK DEVICE MODEL NO.
To make sure your device is eligible with this, you must first confirm its model no. in ‘About device’ option under Settings. Another way to confirm model no. is by looking for it on the packaging box of your device. It must be XT1058!
Do not use the procedures discussed here on any other Moto X (including the Moto X variant at Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular and other International variants) or any other device of Motorola or any other company. You have been warned!

DOWNLOADSDownload the RSD Lite zip file and firmware file given below. Transfer both RSD Lite and firmware file to a separate folder on your computer just to keep things tidy.

[VERY IMPORTANT!] Look for the following line in the file, then select and delete it. Once deleted, save the file by pressing “Ctrl+S” on your PC.
Now boot your Moto X into bootloader mode:
Power off your device and wait for 5-10 seconds until the device is fully switched off.
Press and hold Volume Down + Power button together for a few seconds and then release them to get into bootloader mode
└ If your phone doesn’t appear on RSD Lite screen or if its status isn’t shown as “Connected”, then it means you don’t have proper Moto X drivers installed on your PC. Get them here → Moto X Drivers
When the flashing process is finished, your phone will automatically reboot.
NOTE: RSD Lite may get stuck with “Rebooting” under the Result column but that’s okay, if your Moto X has successfully rebooted then it is safe to disconnect the USB cable.

However, a common problem many face with these custom ROMs is that after flashing them, the tablet loses all the 3G features. In order to use those, one must flash back to an official stock firmware by ASUS.
The guide below will walk you through the steps required to flash back to a stock firmware. You can use the guide for either going back to a stock firmware to get 3G features working or for just returning to stock from a custom ROM.

How to Restore ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T to Stock Firmware
[Important] Backup everything on your tablet to your computer as this process will wipe everything on your tablet. Use this Android backup guide to find out how you can back up apps and data such as contacts and messages.
[Important!] Download the firmware that matches the SKU of your device. To check your device’s SKU, do this:
On the tablet, go into Settings » About tablet. Then, check the Build number.
If the build number starts with “TW”, your SKU is TW. Similarly, if your build number starts with “US”, you must download the firmware for the US SKU.
Extract the downloaded firmware file. You will get another archive file. Extract this one as well to get several files. One of these files will be named “blob”, which is the one we need to use.
Install the Android SDK by following the guide → here.
Extract the Fastboot.zip file to the C: drive on your computer to get a folder named Fastboot with four files inside it.
Copy the blob file obtained in step 3 (after extracting firmware file) to the Fastboot folder on C drive. You should have 5 files in the Fastboot folder now.
Shut down the tablet. Hold Power + Vol Down buttons until a message appears saying “Press Vol. Up to enter RCK (5s)”. However, DO NOT press the Volume Up button. Instead, wait for 5 seconds till a new menu appears. Then, in less than 10 seconds, press Volume Down once to highlight the USB icon, then press the Volume Up button to validate. Remember, you must do this in 10 seconds otherwise the tablet will boot into Android and you’ll have to redo the step.
Open Command Prompt on your computer from Start » All Programs » Accessories (or open Start menu, type cmd and press the Enter button).
Now, type the following commands in command prompt to flash the stock ROM, pressing Enter after each command.
cd c:Fastboot
fastboot devices (this is to ensure the phone gets detected. A string of numbers and letters should appear if the phone is properly detected)
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
NOTE: The flashing procedure may fail a few times. If it does fail, simply redo step 10.3 i.e type in the same command again, till it works and flashes the firmware.
After the stock firmware is flashed, you’ll get a finished/OKAY message in command prompt.
Now, type fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot in the command prompt to reboot the tablet into the newly flashed stock firmware.
Your ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T is now running a stock firmware and has been fully restored to stock, with working 3G (in case it wasn’t working before due to a custom ROM). Let us know how it works!

However, thanks to XDA Recognized Developer PureMotive, we can now fix a bricked Verizon Galaxy S3 and get it running again just like new. The procedure involves flashing a few files that fix the device’s bootloader and make it work normally again, and the guide below will walk you through it with step-by-step-instructions.
Something important to note is that the procedure is quite long, and if not followed properly, it will not work. So read instruction carefully, twice if you have to, and your phone will be fixed and running again in no time.

Download Drivers

Then, connect the phone to the computer with the USB cable and wait for Windows to finish installing drivers. Odin will say Added!! in the message box on the bottom left if the phone is detected successfully. If not, make sure the drivers are installed and also try using a different USB port – preferably a USB port on the back if using a desktop computer.
Wait till flashing is complete and you get a PASS message in Odin. When that happens, disconnect the phone from the computer, but DON’T turn it off and let it stay in download mode. Also close Odin.
Reconnect your phone to the computer (while it is in download mode). Open Odin again.
When flashing is complete and you get a PASS message, disconnect the phone and close Odin. But keep the phone in download mode, don’t turn it off.
Open Odin again and also reconnect the phone to the computer.
The phone will still not boot up completely. Now, remove the battery on the phone, then re-insert it. Don’t turn it on.
In recovery, use the volume buttons to scroll up/down and the home button to select options.
Select wipe data/factory reset, then select Yes on next screen to confirm. Wait a while till the data wipe is complete (this will NOT delete your personal files on the SD cards).
Select wipe cache, confirm, then wait for cache wipe to be completed.
Then, select reboot system now to reboot the phone.
The phone will now boot up properly into Android and is fixed, and you will be able to use it now.

How To Turn Off System Restore In Windows 11/10
System Restore is a feature designed by Microsoft that helps users restore their systems to their previous healthy state. When it is turned on, it captures the snapshots of system image files and Windows Registry and saves all of them as Restore points. When a user starts experiencing problems on his Windows computer, he can use these System Restore Points to take back his system to the previous healthy state. By doing so, he can save time from reinstalling the Windows operating system. Turning off the System Restore is not recommended. However, if you want to turn off System Restore in Windows 11/10 for some reason, this article will show you how to do that.
The System Restore utility continuously monitors your system’s activity and creates a restore point when a particular activity occurs. Some of the activities that trigger the automatic creation of system restore points include:
Installation of software
When you update drivers
When you install new hardware drivers
When you turn ON System Restore, Windows also shows you an option to set the maximum disk usage to save the System Restore files. You can set this by moving the slider. When the System Restore files fill up the space provided by you, WIndows deletes the old restore points automatically in order to create space for the new System Restore Points.
How to turn off System Restore in Windows 11/10Go through the following steps to turn off System Restore in Windows 11/10:
Press the Win + R keys to open the Run command box.
When the Control Panel opens up, select Large icons in the View by mode.

The above steps will disable System Restore on your Windows computer. Do note that when you disable the System Restore, Windows will delete all the previously created restore points and you will not be able to restore your system if any problem occurs.
Turn off System Restore using Group Policy Editor in Windows 11/10This option is more powerful than the first option. It is so because this option completely disables the System Restore feature. The System Restore button in the System Protection will be greyed out and you won’t be able to access the System Restore wizard. Do not worry, you can also turn on the System Restore feature anytime. To disable or turn off System Restore using the Group Policy Editor feature of Windows 11/10, follow these steps:

To enable the System Restore again, repeat the steps mentioned above and delete the SystemRestore key that you created.
System Restore does not affect your personal files, which include photos, videos, documents, etc. Performing a System Restore also does not delete the files that you have downloaded or copied recently. The System Restore may remove or uninstall the recently installed program but all the files that you have created by that program will not be deleted. For example, if you have installed a program recently, say a free photo editing software, all the images that you have edited through this software will not be deleted.
Some users think that System Restore helps recover the deleted files. If you have deleted files accidentally, you will not be able to recover them via System Restore. As we have explained earlier in this article, the System Restore utility creates a snapshot of your system image files and Windows Registry. Therefore, the deleted files will not be recovered by using System Restore. If you want to recover the deleted files, you can install free data recovery software.
