Suggested January 2024 How To Get Better Frame Rates When Streaming And Gaming Simultaneously

Let’s talk about frame rates when streaming and playing games at the same time. Unless you are running a very good PC or a two PC stream setup, you may come across some issues trying to run the latest games on your stream.

We will be resolving this issue with a number of techniques, and you can follow along with each step on your own streaming setup too. Please understand that in some cases, the only solution will be to buy better hardware, but I will try to guide you through boosting more performance out of your PC no matter what.

Table of Contents

For this guide, I will be using OBS to record, which is arguably the best live streaming software right now. It’s free to download and there are plenty of guides on the internet to help you get started.

Find the Problem

To start off, please load up your game and start your stream in bandwidth test mode. We will need to get some details about your computer to determine why you are running at a lower frame rate. Once you have your game open and your stream has started, follow the steps below.

Alt+Tab from your game and go to your desktop.

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.

Take a look at your CPU and GPU usage and make a note of it.

If you aren’t reaching 100% usage, please update your drivers, update OBS, and follow this guide for optimizing your settings.

If your CPU or GPU are reaching close to or 100% usage, that is why your frame rate is suffering. You may notice frame drops in your game, or perhaps your viewers will notice frame rate drops in the stream.

There are some methods to lower your usage and once you do, that could potentially resolve any frame rate issues you have. Let’s take a look at these methods below.

How to Reduce CPU and GPU Usage While Streaming

The most important thing you can do to begin with is to close down any programs that are using CPU in the background. Opening Task Manager with Ctrl + Shift + will tell you which apps are using the most processing power.

In my case, we can see that around 50% of my CPU is being used by apps not necessary for streaming. We can close down these apps to free up CPU power for our stream. If some apps need to be open, for example, if you use Chrome for music whilst streaming, you could switch to a less CPU intensive option. You could use the Spotify desktop app, for example, or switch to a low profile browser with less tabs open.

Once you have closed down unnecessary apps, the next thing you can do is go through the game settings and reduce the graphics. Look for options that may increase CPU usage like render distance. With these settings lower, your PC will free up more processing power.

One very important tip I can give you is to limit the frame rate in your game. Different games will have different options for this. Some will require specific commands in the game launch options, others may have an in-game FPS cap.

If you don’t have a frame rate limit, the game will try to push as many frames as possible, which means the PC will be using all of its CPU and GPU power to try to maintain a higher frame rate. In many cases, this isn’t needed. It’s best to cap your frame rate at a reasonable level so that your PC isn’t overworked. This will free up some processing power for your stream and it will help you to maintain a smooth, consistent frame rate.

It sounds like a strange fix, but it really does work. In my experience, it was the biggest solution to my problem when my viewers complained about stuttery performance.

To find a suitable frame rate, run the game whilst streaming and see what frames you get. You can use a program like FRAPS to capture your frame rate. Pay attention to the average, and then choose a frame rate limit slightly below that. If you only have a 60Hz display, you should simply cap your frame rate to around 60fps because you won’t be able to see any higher frames.

I hope that this guide has helped you to resolve any frame rate issues you may have whilst streaming. For a quick reminder, I mentioned three tips in this guide.

Close down unnecessary background apps

Reduce in-game graphics settings

Limit your frame rate

If your CPU or GPU are still hitting 100% usage, the only solution would be to upgrade your system. If you have any questions about this guide, please reach out to me and I’ll be happy to help.

Share link

Digital technology has become one of the most significant factors influencing the marketing sector. Companies are leveraging social media platforms and big data tools to frame better marketing strategies. This integration of marketing and technology is now popularly called MarTech. Let’s understand what is MarTech and how it is transforming marketing models.

What is MarTech?

MarTech combines two words—marketing and technology. It refers to using software and technologies for online and offline marketing purposes. You can better understand MarTech when you consider it as an ecosystem of marketing tools like emails, websites, social media, mobile apps, etc. Simply put, MarTech refers to software and tools for marketing products or services. It enables businesses to achieve their marketing goals, get more customers, and generate more revenue.

What are the Essentials of a MarTech Implementation?

Over 60% of marketers in the U.S. are of the opinion that MarTech implementation is complex. Here are a few essentials that you can add to your MarTech strategy for smooth implementation:

Define Your Requirements

Setting up a MarTech stack (explained further in the article) requires huge investment: As per a survey, companies spent around 25.4% of their marketing budget on MarTech in 2023. Therefore, before you prepare a MarTech strategy, you must define your marketing requirements and objectives. This helps you analyze and select the marketing tools or solutions that you require for your marketing goals, and you can set aside a budget accordingly.

Integrate the MarTech Stack with Different Channels

You need to explore different marketing channels like emails, blogs, apps, or websites before creating a marketing technology strategy. This helps you leverage the full potential of a stack.

Frequent Monitoring

It is essential to frequently track and analyze the performance of your stack.

What is a MarTech Stack?

A MarTech stack is a cluster of digital marketing tools or strategies that are used for various marketing activities. Given below is a list of tools that you ought to include in your stack:

1. Content Management System (CMS)

A MarTech stack must have CMS software that allows for creating, editing, publishing, and updating content. It can also host your website and blog.

5. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software

The CRM tools allow businesses to streamline and automate tasks, thereby enhancing customer services.

6. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software

The ERP software is used to automate day-to-day business operations in accounting, finance, HR, and other departments. Adding ERP software to your stack can help automate sales and marketing operations and increase productivity.

7. Advertising Technology (AdTech) Types of MarTech

The following are the different types of MarTech tools that can help businesses enhance their marketing strategies:

Sales enablement tools

Data analytics tools

Rich media tools for creating videos and podcasts

Marketing automation tools

Why is Marketing Technology Important?

Modern marketing is dynamic. With the pace at which digital marketing platforms are growing, businesses need to leverage technology to keep up with the changing trends and gain an edge over their competitors. Here is why MarTech is essential for businesses:

Facilitates seamless collaboration between marketing, sales, and operations teams by enabling the free flow of customer data

It automates marketing activities, increases efficiency, and allows businesses to enhance customer services

Cloud-based MarTech tools allow businesses to keep up with the dynamic marketing landscape and enable marketing teams to work remotely

What is the Difference Between MarTech and AdTech? Future Predictions for MarTech

MarTech is expected to disrupt the future of marketing by bringing in different trends and making marketing automation more seamless. Here are the three significant MarTech trends that we will most likely witness by 2030:

1. No-Code Development

Until a few years ago, graphic designing skills were a must to design brochures, logos, or design landing pages. Now, we have Canva to make designing simpler and quicker for everyone. Similarly, there are plenty of MarTech tools like Voiceflow and Bubble that allow common people with little or no coding knowledge to streamline marketing functions. Over 75% of businesses are expected to use no-code and low-code applications by 2025 for marketing purposes. This includes creating blogs, SEO, market analysis, and marketing automation. It will help marketing teams become more efficient and reduce dependency.

2. Explosion of Marketing Apps

In 2011, there were 150 MarTech apps or solutions in the market. In 2023, this number rose to 8,000. Then, in 2023, it is expected that the number of digital marketing apps will cross 500 million, leading to a veritable explosion of such apps. The majority of MarTech apps in the future will be developed and deployed through cloud services and provide custom and on-demand marketing services or solutions for businesses. This is also expected to create a high demand for software developers with expert marketing knowledge.

3. Increase in the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Marketing Automation

Technologies like big data, AI, and machine learning (ML) will revolutionize the future of digital marketing. It will automatically capture and analyze customer data to provide valuable marketing insights and automate content creation. MarTech will also help automate ad spend optimization or landing page optimization. The requirement of humans for traditional marketing activities like designing campaigns will thus see a fall; skills like innovation and creativity will be preferred.

Learning MarTech, the Emeritus Way

Technology is rapidly changing every passing day. This will eventually transform the marketing sector leading to new trends and the introduction of unique tools in the market. Professionals with holistic MarTech skills like data analytics, customer experience marketing, AI and ML, and visual content creation, will be in high demand.

If you are a marketing professional or are planning to step into the marketing field, you need to upskill to be eligible for future marketing jobs. Emeritus online sales and marketing courses can help you learn the latest market trends and skills for a promising marketing career.

The Best Phones For Gaming: Play Faster And Better

Mobile gaming has come a long way in recent years, and if you want to make the most of it you’ll want to pick up a gaming phone. These come in all shapes and sizes, but choosing the best gaming phone for you will come down to a few questions:

How far can you stretch your budget?

Do you need hardware triggers for first-person shooters, etc.?

How important are cameras and other features?

iOS or Android?

Once you know what’s important to you, it isn’t too difficult to find a great phone for gaming. You can learn more in our detailed buyer’s guide, but we’ve done the hard work for you and tested nearly every phone on the market. Keep reading for the best gaming phones you can buy in 2023, starting with a phone that’s easily the cream of the crop.

What makes it stand out

Gaming first: This phone is built to game with hardware triggers and tip-top performance.

Great battery life: The beefy 6,000mAh cell lasts for two days or several hours of hardcore gaming.

Add-on accessories: ASUS makes a full ecosystem of accessories, most notably the Aero Cooler 7.

What makes it stand out

Magnetic triggers: These provide nice haptic feedback and can be programmed with shortcuts outside of games.

Fast charging: Top off fast with the included 120W charger.

Killer performance: The Black Shark 5 Pro features a fast processor and an abundance of RAM.

What makes it stand out

Pure power: This phone pulls no punches when it comes to specs and raw power.

Improved cooling: nubia has further improved its cooling tech, providing better performance under pressure.

Clean display: The under-display selfie camera means uninterrupted screen real estate for gaming.

What makes it stand out

S Pen goodness: The S Pen housed in the device is excellent for strategy games.

Raw power: We experienced no hiccups or stutters, even in intense games.

Excellent cameras: This tops our list of the best camera phones, providing great versatility.

What makes it stand out

Bionic power: Apple’s Bionic A16 processor is extremely powerful and energy efficient.

ProMotion display: The large, 120Hz OLED display is perfect for games of all types.

Ecosystem: iOS always has the latest and greatest apps and games.

What makes it stand out

Price: This is the best cheap gaming phone you can buy (but not in the US).

Shoulder buttons: The retractable shoulder buttons are a joy to use, and can be mapped to virtual buttons.

Fast charging: Battery life is decent, and you can top off to full in just 17 minutes.

Not sure what makes a gaming phone good? We’ve tested lots of phones, and here’s some quick insight into what we look for:

Powerful specs: Modern games can be very demanding, so a powerful SoC and a healthy helping of RAM are crucial to maintaining high framerates.

Thermal performance: One of the biggest drawbacks of the latest generation of flagship processors is heat. Many gaming phones have improved thermals to enable much better-sustained performance than traditional flagships.

Hardware triggers: While not all of our picks have them, hardware triggers make a good gaming phone great. Bonus points if they offer nice haptic feedback. However, keep in mind accessories like the Razer Kishi can get around this.

Software: Obviously, gaming features are great, but there are other things to consider as well. Chief among them are updates. If your phone will only receive updates for two years, you’ll need to upgrade much sooner than you’d like.

Cameras: Camera performance is nearly always lacking on gaming phones, but some are still capable shooters. Likewise, many of the best camera phones, like the premium Galaxy S22 Ultra, are also excellent for gaming.

While 4GB is the minimum for standard phones, gaming phones should have at least 8GB, and preferably 12GB of RAM. Check out our guide to learn more.

The latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, Apple A16 Bionic, or Dimensity 9000 Plus are all great options. Each has pros and cons, which you can read about here.

Gaming phones from a few years ago will still be able to run the latest games, but they may not receive many years of software updates.

How And When To Diversify Your Anchor Text

Though the Google Penguin update wasn’t technically the over-optimization that spokesperson Matt Cutts hinted might be coming, the algorithm change definitely had an impact on today’s anchor text optimization best practices.

To understand what this means and why this matters, it’s important that you first understand how anchor text is used in Google’s ranking algorithms.

Through experimentation, SEOs discovered that including target keyword phrases as anchor texts in the inbound backlinks they built to point at their websites had an effect on their overall rankings for these queries. This isn’t surprising. Although Google values linked connections between sites as “editorial votes” that demonstrate one website’s confidence in another, Google only has a few potential signals to use when determining exactly what the link relates to—and one of these signals is the relevance of your inbound anchor text to your webpage content.

But while it’s helpful for anchor text to be relevant, using the same anchor text phrases over and over in the links that you build is overkill that’s likely to get you penalized. Instead of simply repeating your target SEO keywords in this crucial spot, consider the following process for determining when to diversify the anchor text you use in your link building efforts.

Step #1: Sort Your Backlink Profile by Anchor Text

Before you can begin diversifying your anchor text (should you need to do so in the first place), you must first obtain a list of all the links pointing back at your website, along with the anchor text associated with them. There are a number of different tools you can use to do this, including:

While the Webmaster Tools program is a free option, be aware that it won’t provide you with as much information as you’ll find using any of the other paid services listed above.

Branded keyword phrases (for example, your company name or slogan)

Exact match SEO keywords based on the search queries for which you’d like to rank highly

Step #2: Sort Your Competitors’ Profiles by Anchor Text

Before you begin to analyze what the percentages of your own backlink profile mean, take a few minutes to repeat the process for both your competitors’ websites and other top sites in your niche or vertical.

Again, separate the links you uncover by their content, including branded phrases, domain name texts, target SEO keywords and un-optimized phrases. Within the target SEO keywords category, break down each competitors’ existing anchor text distributions to see how many different keywords they’re targeting, as well as the number of times each variation is used.

Step #3: Analyze Your Anchor Text Distribution

Once you’ve finished compiling your data from Steps #1 and #2, it’s time to compare, contrast, and make a plan for how and when you’ll diversify your anchor text distribution.

Now, unfortunately, there are no “hard and fast” rules about anchor text variations, so I’m sorry if you’ve come to this article looking for a statement like, “No more than 50 percent of your anchor texts should be keyword optimized.”

However, you can establish your own general guidelines based on the information uncovered already in your research by taking the following considerations into account:

No one anchor text should stick out within your profile

One of the first things you’ll want to look for when examining your own backlink profile is any anchor texts that stick out in terms of usage. If, for example, your profile shows that you’ve used 10 different anchor texts in your linking efforts, but that you’ve used one variation approximately 50 percent of the time, you’ll want to take steps to even out your overall distributions. Having one anchor text represented more frequently than others is a dead giveaway to the search engines that you’ve engaged in over-optimized link schemes.

Your industry will influence your ideal anchor text distribution

But even if your anchor text variations are relatively diverse, they may not be in an ideal proportion compared to your industry’s standards.

For example, say your link profile is comprised of 25 percent keyword-optimized anchor texts, 50 percent branded terms, and 25 percent un-optimized phrases. This seems fine, until you see that your competitors and others in your niche tend to use a balance of 50 percent SEO anchor texts to 25 percent branded and un-optimized phrases.

It might not matter if your distribution is significantly different from your competitors’, especially if you see a tremendous amount of variety across the board between others in your niche. Some industries can get away with a heavier usage of exact match anchor text, while larger competitors might skew more towards branded keywords as a result of their relative size.

However, if you do notice that other players within your industry or vertical adhere to a similar anchor text distribution that’s significantly different from your own, consider that this might be occurring because others in your niche have found an ideal balance to ensure high SERP rankings and diminished chances of being penalized. If you suspect this might be the case, it’s in your best interests to alter your anchor text distribution to fall along the same lines you’ve uncovered.

Your linking practices should be optimized, yet natural looking

For best results, it’s a good idea to balance both SEO and branded keywords in your anchor text variations. If you’re a young company without an established brand identity, targeting a higher percentage of exact match keywords may allow you to secure the natural search traffic needed to grow your business faster than tailoring your anchor texts to target branded search volume that doesn’t yet exist.

Step #4: Repair Any Over-optimized Anchor Text Variations

If you find that your current anchor text distribution is out of whack with your ideal variation for any of the reasons described above, you’ll want to take immediate action in order to bring your anchor texts in line with SEO best practices.

When it comes to repairing over-optimized anchor texts, you’ve got two options:

You can work with referring webmasters to have links with specific anchor text versions changed or removed entirely, or

You can build new backlinks that will bring your anchor text distribution into accordance with your stated goals.

The solution that you choose will depend largely on how skewed your existing distribution is, as well as how easy it will be to replace the bad links you’ve created in the past. If you’ve engaged in paid link schemes that won’t be easy to undo in the past, you may also find it useful to consider Google’s new “Disavow Links” tool (though this program should be used with caution to prevent the unintended loss of positive link equity).

Obviously, repairing an over-optimized anchor text distribution with one that meets today’s SEO guidelines isn’t going to be an overnight project. It will take time to correct your overall link phrase distributions, but with consistent, concerted effort, you should see an improvement in your overall natural search performance and a reduced susceptibility to current and future search engine penalties.

How To Define Duty Rates In Tallyprime (Excise For Manufacturer)

Different businesses have different requirements. While some businesses  deal with a single stock item and single type of transaction, whereas some businesses deal with multiple stock items, and different types of transactions and require a more complex statutory functionality.

Based on the demands of the business, you can select the kind of capability that you want.

Excise duty rates can be defined at company level when you deal in only one type of goods having a single duty rate.

ABC Company is a manufacturing unit for packaged drinking water. They sell 20l water cans. Let us see how excise tariff can be defined and applied in a scenario like this.

If you do not see this option, press F12 (Configure) and set the options Show more features and Show all features to Yes.

Set the option Set/alter Excise tariff details to Yes in the Excise Details screen.

Press Enter to save.

Press Ctrl+A to save the Excise Registration details.

To enter new tariff details or revised excise rate

Go to the Excise Tariff Details screen (shown above).

Enter the new excise Rate

Press Enter. The Tariff Details Applicability screen appears. Enter the Applicable From date.

Press Enter to save and return to Excise Registration Details screen.

You can also press Alt+W (Details) from the Excise Tariff Details screen, enter the Applicable From date and provide the tariff details with revised excise duty.

Create a duty ledger with the Type of Duty as CENVAT and the Duty Head as Basic Excise Duty.

On selecting the duty ledger created in a transaction, the duty rate is calculated as shown in the screen below.

ABC Company uses one tariff for all the stock items that they manufacture or deal with. Hence, the same duty ledger can be used for all stock items like Dew Drops Water Packet (500ml), Dew Drops Water Can (20l) and Dew Drops mini (500ml).

In addition to accounting masters like groups and ledgers, excise duty and tariff details can be defined in inventory masters such as stock group and stock item.

Royal Industries is a food processing company that manufactures waffles, wafers, and biscuits. All the goods that they manufacture and sell attract 6% excise duty, except for stock items that are coated with chocolate, which attract 12% excise duty.

Now let us see how defining stock rate at the group level will simplify the process for Royal Industries.

Enable the option Set/alter excise details in the Stock Group Creation screen.

To enter new tariff details or revised excise rate

Go to the Excise Tariff Details screen (shown above).

Enter the new excise Rate.

Similarly, the group Waffles and Wafers (Chocolate Coated) can be created, and duty details defined appropriately as shown below:

Press Enter to save and return to Excise Registration Details screen.

You can also press Alt+W (Details) from the Excise Tariff Details screen, enter the Applicable From date and provide the tariff details with revised excise duty.

Create the stock item under the group for which the duty rate has been defined. The stock items will inherit the excise tax details configured at the stock group level.

Similarly create stock item under the group Waffles and Wafers (Chocolate Coated). This item will inherit 12% excise duty configured in the stock group.

To enter new tariff details or revised excise rate, press Alt+W (Details) from the Excise Tariff Details screen. Enter the Applicable From date and provide the tariff details with revised excise duty.

Create a duty ledger with the Type of Duty as CENVAT. The Ledger Creation screen of excise duty ledger appears as shown below:

On selecting the duty ledger created in a transaction, the duty rate is calculated as shown in the screen below.

The tax analysis of  this transaction shows that although only one excise duty ledger was selected in the transaction, duty of each stock item has happened according to the rate defined in the group.

Once defined at the group level, the tax rate can be applied to all the stock items classified under the group.

Duty rates can be defined at the ledger level. Based on the requirement of the business, tax configuration can be made either in the ledger master or in the stock item master.

GoIndia is a company that process and supply fuel to fuel stations. They sell petrol and diesel, both branded and unbranded. The duty rates for each one of their stock item is different. They will define the rates of duty in the stock item master level.

Let us see how they record the sale of diesel and unleaded petrol.

You can also press Alt+W (Details) from the Excise Tariff Details screen, enter the Applicable From date and provide the tariff details with revised excise duty.

On selecting the duty ledgers created in a transaction, the duty rates are calculated as shown in the screen below.

The tax analysis of  this transaction shows that duty has been calculated for each stock item based on the tax configuration made in the stock items.

How To Evaluate Hard And Soft Skills When Hiring

Regardless of the job, employees need both hard and soft skills to succeed in today’s workplace.

Hard skills and soft skills play off against each other. They help define the strengths of individuals and teams as well as how projects get tackled.

Knowing how to hire for certain hard and/or soft skills is essential to your company’s success.

This article is for small business owners and supervisors who want to learn more about hard and soft skills that employees must have and how to ensure that new hires are right for their business needs.

When making new hires, we typically have a good grasp on the skills we are looking for in candidates. However, we often focus heavily on the hard skills a candidate has and not as much on soft skills, even though well-rounded employees have both hard and soft skills. An employee with highly tuned technical skills will not necessarily be successful in a job unless they also possess people skills or the ability to work well within teams.

What are the differences between hard skills and soft skills?

Hard skills are tangible abilities workers have that help them do their jobs while soft skills are qualities or characteristics that can enhance workplace performance, improve company culture and support team members. Both are important as hiring a candidate that has both the necessary hard skills to fulfill their role and the right soft skills to complement your team is key.

Hard skills

Think of hard skills as more quantifiable and binary. You can generally measure the work product that results from hard skills’ capabilities ― for instance, the candidate either knows a computer program or does not.

These are some examples of hard skills:

The ability to type a certain number of words per minute

Knowledge of a computer program or skills relating to information technology support

Proficiency in a language

The ability to certify and run a machine or system that requires common training for operators

Data analysis

The ability to copywrite or edit documents

A specific degree, industry-recognized certifications, licensure or awards

Soft skills

Soft skills are the interpersonal abilities or personality traits that employees bring to the table. They are those intangible qualities that employers search for as they bring on new team members. An employee who is a technical expert in their field but lacks the soft skills to work well with others likely won’t be as beneficial to your company as someone who has those added traits.

Soft skills are also more diverse than hard skills. Here are some examples:

Effective communication skills

Expression of empathy for colleagues’ troubles and stress points

Self-awareness and the ability to “read the room”

Ability to work well in teams

Flexibility to pick up tasks and embrace changes in plans

Leadership qualities

Ability to manage time efficiently, such as meet deadlines and project targets on time

A solid and consistent work ethic

Attention to detail

Key Takeaway

Both hard and soft skills are essential to build a well-rounded organization. Hard skills are more tangible and quantifiable, while soft skills are more interpersonal and difficult to measure, although you certainly know when they are not present.

Building teams that incorporate a range of complementary hard and soft skill sets is a great way to ensure future balance and effectiveness of the team. Hard skills are easier and more tangible to measure and assess while soft skills are observable through more subjective analysis.

How to interview for hard and soft skills

In addition to what you search for on a resume, the interview questions you use to tease out candidates’ skill sets and other attributes are critical to determining who is most qualified to work for your company.

Employers often use skills assessments ― for both hard and soft skills ― to gauge the cumulative abilities and skill sets of current employees. These tests can also help you measure whether a candidate has the attributes to perform the job successfully.

Interviews and assessments: Hard skills

The most reliable way to assess hard skills is to employ a widely used skill assessment test that addresses industry- or job-specific tasks. These skill sets are easier to assess in a binary way. These are some common hard skill assessment tests:

Computer skills assessment

Work sample test

Cognitive ability test

Basic math or writing assessment

Interviews and assessment: Soft skills

The best assessment phase for skill sets is during the interview process. Develop questions that allow you to extract the information you need. You can find sample interview questions online to help you assess job candidates’ soft skills and attributes. Consider the STAR interview response technique. You can use it as a guide for effective questions to ask applicants:

Situation: Ask the applicant about a time they faced a difficult situation at work. Instruct them to provide enough context for you to understand the challenges they faced.

Task: Inquire about the tasks the candidate identified as necessary to address the situation. Ask them how they came up with these tasks and organized their time to address each.

Action: Learn more about how the candidate acted once they identified some constructive tasks they could take. Did they involve others or escalate the issue to management?

Result: Ask the candidate what the results of their actions were and what they learned from the experience. What might they have done differently knowing what they know now?

A candidate’s responses to questions that analyze a situation using the STAR method will reveal key things about their ability to analyze a situation critically, come up with solutions, plan tasks, organize their time and take appropriate action. It also demonstrates how well they reflect on their decisions, whether they’ve succeeded or failed and how they grow from handling challenges in the workplace.

Build your team with complementary skills

When recruiting candidates, it can be easy to determine whether they have the hard skills they require to do the job, but it’s also important to consider how their soft skills will complement your team. Recruiting and hiring people with the right combination of hard skills and soft skills can help level up your business in terms of both productivity and culture. When recruiting and hiring candidates, evaluating their hard skills and soft skills in context with your team’s can help you choose the best possible candidate.
