We, therefore, now, will on and off, cover very basic Windows tutorials for beginners too.Difference Between Cut and Copy
First things first, there is a difference between Cutting and Copying something. When you cut and paste an image or text, you are actually removing it from one location and getting it in your clipboard, while copying will create a duplicate image or text. Once copied on your clipboard or temporary memory, you can paste it in any document, file, or folder of your PC. We can copy almost anything from the Internet, but cutting a text or an image from the web is not possible. So basically, we use the ‘CUT’ option when we want to move an image, text, a file, or a folder from one location to another, and we use ‘Copy’ when we want to create a duplicate item. What is Clipboard
Before we proceed, it is important to understand what a Clipboard is. Windows PCs come with a feature called Windows Clipboard, which stores the information temporarily, thereby allowing you to move or paste it in some other location. The data stored in the clipboard gets deleted when you restart or shut down your PC. Methods to Add Multiple Clocks in Windows 11
Follow one of the below methods depending upon the type of clock and the way you want to access.#1. Using Windows 11 Settings App
This is an easy way to add two additional clock display on top of the existing taskbar clock. Though it is a simple text display, you do not need to use any apps and is also easy to access.
Open Adjust Date and Time Settings
Additional Clocks Settings in Windows 11
It will open “Date and Time” dialog box and you will see options to add two additional clocks under “Additional Clocks” tab.
Enable first “Show this clock” checkbox option and select the time zone from the dropdown. After that provide the name for your clock like the city name so that you can understand easily. For example, I select UTC+0 time zone and give the display name as London.

Similarly, select the second “Show this clock” checkbox and provide the details. I select UTC+4 time zone and enter the name as Santiago.
Enable Two Clocks and Set Time Zones
Now, simply hover your mouse over the taskbar clock and you will see all three clocks (local time, London and Santiago).
Hover to See Additional Clocks in Taskbar

Though the above method is simple, the problem is that the text display is too small and there are no options to increase the clock’s text size. You can only increase the text size of the entire system and not only for the clocks. So, the next option is to use the default Clock app which has better user interface and visual map to show unlimited additional clocks.
Search and open Clock app.
Open Clock App in Windows 11
The app has multiple options like timer, alarm, stopwatch and go to “World Clock” option. It will show your current city’s clock by default along with a pin on the map.

Delete Added City in Clock App#3. Using WorldOClock App
The last option is to a third-party app called WorldOClock to add multiple clocks in Windows 11.
Open Microsoft Store and search for “world clock”.
Find and install WorldOClock app.
Install WorldOClock App in Windows 11
Add New City Clock in WorldOClock App
Selected city’s clock will be added under “Clocks” section in the app.

Pin or Delete Clock in WorldOClock App
Note that “Pin the clock” option though works in Windows 11 to add the tile in Start menu, it does not show the time. It will be useful on Windows 10 Start menu where it can show the time on the tile.Final Words
Using default Windows Settings app is the easy way to add two more clocks in the taskbar. Alternatively, you can use the World Clock option in Clock app for better visual appearance. If in-built options do not work for you, then try third-party apps like WorldOClock to have unlimited clock tiles in single place. If you prefer to use Clock or third-party app, it’s a good idea to pin the app to taskbar for quick access.

There have been numerous reports on support forums, particularly Windows 10 PC users, that some apps’ background on the Start Menu tile is grey in contrast to the system Dark Mode theme. This is not a bug or glitch, and in this post, we explain why and the steps you can take to disable/remove Theme Aware Tiles or in other words, make the Start Menu background black with blue tiles/app in Windows 10.
As you can see from the lead-in image above on the left, every program and app, including other Adobe Products, seems to have the standard background, but Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects specifically are both the only one that has that gray background. Affected users reported that this behavior doesn’t show if Light Mode/Theme is selected for the system, maybe because the colors are similar.Disable or Remove Theme Aware Tiles in Windows 10
According to the reports, after the Windows 10 20H2 update, apps and programs have lost the colored background that they use to have and now have a color that’s dependent on your theme. But there seems to be a problem with certain applications’ backgrounds and the icons – for example, some programs like Adobe Animate CC 2023 and those previously mentioned used to have an accent color as the background, but now it has a grayish background on Dark Mode.
The reason for this behavior is a design decision. Since Windows 10 20H2, Microsoft has removed the system accent color behind tiles. This is called Theme Aware Tiles in Start. Changing the individual colors of the tiles is no longer possible. However, if you need to re-enable or make Windows 10 Start Menu Tiles background colored or simply put, disable Theme Aware Tiles, you need to follow our steps outlined below to modify the Windows Registry.
Since this is a registry operation, it is recommended that you back up the registry or create a system restore point as necessary precautionary measures. Once done, you can proceed as follows:
Press the Windows key + R to invoke the Run dialog.
In the Run dialog box, type regedit and hit Enter to open Registry Editor.
Navigate or jump to the registry key path below:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlFeatureManagementOverrides
Select Delete from the context menu.
The hive above stores the overridden features of the Windows OS – so deleting the 0 folder key will restore these features. The number after Override, i.e. generally 0 or 4 represents the priority group. There is a rare priority group 10, which is treated more like an Enterprise policy.
Exit Registry Editor when done.
If when you try to delete the registry key above, and it throws a permissions error, then you can follow the steps below to take ownership of the registry key before you try the registry key delete operation again.
Select the Permissions… option from the context menu.
In the Select User or Group dialog box, type your username in the Enter the object name to select the field
Now, checkmark the Replace owner on the subcontainers and objects option.
Now, select your username in the first dialog box and checkmark the Allow permission given for Full Control option.
That’s it on how to disable or remove the Theme Aware Tiles feature in Windows 10!
