Suggested March 2024 Dinox Announces Their Upcoming Avatar Sale

DINOX World is an expansive metaverse gaming world where NFT dinosaurs come to life! Currently in its public beta testing phase, the game is constantly introducing new features and putting to use the valuable feedback from more than seven thousand daily active users to continuously improve gameplay and user experience.

One of the highly anticipated rollouts for the game is the introduction of DinoX Avatars – fully animated and unique game representations of the player in DINOX World. Each Avatar will have special abilities (passive, active, or both), which have the potential to enhance the strength of a player’s dinosaur team during battles, increase their earnings after defeating enemies, revive a fallen dino during combat, just to name a few.

In addition, each Avatar also has the capacity for a temporary ability that will expire after some time or a specific number of uses. These abilities are NFTs themselves (in the form of Ability Cards) and, just like the Avatars and Dinosaurs in DINOX World, are tradeable on NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea and will be available on DinoX’s own marketplace targeting release in Q2 of this year.

There are a total of 4,500 DinoX Avatars being minted and only 1,500 available in the DinoX Avatar Sale on Binance NFT. Meaning, they’re going to be a rare and desirable commodity in DinoX’s dinosaur metaverse (aka Dinoverse), so participants will want to be fast in the upcoming sale to ensure they get one of these coveted Avatars.

Every Avatar will differ from one another visually and, making them even more unique, will be divided into five groups of rarities – COMMON, UNCOMMON, RARE, LEGENDARY, and MYTHICAL, well known to DINOX World players and owners of their NFTs. Higher rarity Avatars have stronger abilities, making them more beneficial to the player and, therefore, more valuable on the open market.

DinoX’s Avatar sale on Binance NFT will be done in a “mystery box” style, where all the 1,500 Avatars are sold at the same price and the purchaser won’t know which Avatar or rarity theirs is right away. DinoX will host a special event for revealing the Avatars at a later date, so buyers have even more anticipation to look forward to.

“Partnering with Binance NFT for our Avatar sale is a huge milestone for our project. Our team’s hard work and dedication are reflected in each major accomplishment we achieve and we’re just getting started!” – Filip Tomaska, DinoX CEO & Co-Founder.

To keep the community informed, DinoX constantly posts on its Twitter and the core team is very active on Telegram and Discord.

About DinoX

DinoX is building an entire ecosystem for collectible, tradeable, and playable NFT dinosaurs living on the Ethereum & Polygon blockchains. Their dinosaur-themed, play-to-earn game – DINOX World – is a fun and interactive digital gaming world where pixel-art NFT dinosaurs are playable characters. In their game, you can own your very own dinosaurs and take care of them, breed them, train them, and even battle them against various other creatures. The DinoX Metaverse (aka Dinoverse) is not only about dinosaurs but also includes NFT Avatars and Lands which expands the player experience.

Report: Upcoming Apple Tv Refresh To Serve As Full

Two months ago, the reliable blogger Mark Gurman was first out of the gate with a report painting a pretty rosy picture of an upcoming Apple TV hardware refresh, said to include full-blown downloadable games via an Apple TV App Store of sorts.

He also learned from sources that the box could sport a built-in TV tuner to effectively control your existing cable boxes and TV stations, helping put the real TV into Apple’s $99 set-top box.

A new report yesterday by former WSJ writer Jessia Lessin’s new outlet, The Information, provides additional tidbits regarding the gaming and cable box functionality…

The new box under development would blend live TV listings with apps and web video, with a big focus on gaming, these people said.  Apple’s also banking on drawing customers with a new interface.

Integration with cable boxes – the Holly grail of the living room – is precisely the reason I instantly fell in love with Microsoft’sXbox One.

The One lets you route, navigate and watch live television from your cable or satellite set-top box, right on the console itself.

The new Apple TV, the story goes, would “serve as a full replacement for a cable box”, offering cable content as well as iTunes and other web video.

As a reminder, a Sunday night report by The Wall Street Journal asserted that teams at Apple and Comcast have been talking for more than a year about a partnership that would enable Apple TV users to subscribe to bulk channels from Comcast, on the device itself and using their existing Apple ID credentials.

In return, Comcast would treat Apple’s video streams as a “managed service,” routing video through a special portion of its cable pipe that’s separate from the more congested portion reserved for public Internet access.

The Information article also sheds more light on the gaming functionality.

The article is half-right, methinks, as some games can already be played that way through the current-generation Apple TV, with a little help from AirPlay, Apple’s wireless media streaming technology. And let’s not forget that virtually any iOS game can be streamed to the Apple TV by enabling AirPlay Mirroring on the iPhone or iPad.

Neither solution is however satisfactory.

For starters, only a handful of games implement AirPlay natively, where action gets beamed wirelessly to the big screen and virtual controls, maps, in-game menus and other assets get rendered on your iOS device doubling as both a controller and a second-screen device.

The vast majority of titles simply pipe action through the Apple TV, using AirPlay Mirroring. Either way, gameplay gets severely crippled because AirPlay introduces a slight but noticeable lag that spoils the fun in fast-paced action and rainy games.

Plus, games beamed to the Apple TV via AirPlay actually run on your iOS device itself and that can be very taxing on the battery. Last but not least, your iPhone lacks the physical buttons to control the gameplay and could get damaged as you squeeze the “controller” in your hands in the heat of the gameplay.

What the Apple TV needs is support for dedicated iOS 7 controllers, maybe even an Apple-branded controller reminiscent of this cool concept by the prolific 3D artist Martin Hajek.

As the concept envisions, the directional pad along with the four action buttons would augment the Menu, Select and Play/Pause buttons of the existing Apple Remote.

It should be no larger than Nintendo’s Wii controller.

The Information somewhat confusingly suggests that Apple’s also been working to release an updated version of the $99 box, “which supports a growing number of video apps, including apps from Disney and HBO”.

This would indicate two Apple TV editions: one the existing box with updated internals and the other a beefier variant that can play games and integrate with your cable and satellite boxes.

Which brings me to the following thought:

What if the next Apple TV is basically an HDMI dongle..

…a fraction of the size of the existing box…

…that plugs into an HDMI port on the back of your telly, Chromecast style?

Now, that would be something!

This HDMI-style Apple TV concept was commissioned by the German magazine chúng tôi You may remember the outlet for a recently published pair of nice concepts depicting Apple’s rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro and a future Apple TV with an iPod touch style remote.

This is all, of course, pure speculation.

We’ve seen little evidence – aside from some code strings in iOS – that would suggest Apple is indeed interested in adding any of the aforementioned features to its hockey puck device.

How should Apple be bettering its box, do you think?

Google Announces Google Analytics 4 & Adsense Integration

Google announced it’s enabling the integration of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties with AdSense accounts.

This update allows AdSense data to be available in GA4 reports and explorations, providing a more comprehensive view of website performance.

Connecting GA4 & AdSense

The merger of AdSense data with other website analytics, such as traffic sources and user behavior, provides a comprehensive understanding of website performance.

You can use this information to identify patterns and insights that can help optimize ad revenue.

Automatically collecting these events for each ad can increase the number of billable events for 360 properties, providing an accurate report of ad interactions.

This eliminates discrepancies previously seen with the integration between Universal Analytics and AdSense.

How To Do It

Follow the steps below to link an Analytics property to your AdSense account:

Sign in to your AdSense account.

Select the property that you want to link from the list.

Your property is now linked to AdSense.

How It All Works

The GA4 and AdSense integration operates through key processes, including shared IDs, automatically collected events, and data joining.

For the integration to function, GA4 and AdSense tags communicate using shared IDs to match each ad impression with its corresponding GA4 event.

This inter-tag communication ensures the logged IDs are the same between GA4 and AdSense for a single event and its corresponding ad impression.

GA4 collects specific events automatically via the Google tag.

Moreover, GA4 joins its data with AdSense log files using shared IDs to match AdSense data with Analytics data.

The information and configuration settings, available when each event occurs, are utilized in this integration process.

Once the AdSense reporting integration is set up, the AdSense revenue data becomes available in the Explorations main menu in the GA4 property.

Dealing With Data Discrepancies

Despite the improved integration, there may be discrepancies between reports in the AdSense account and those in the AdSense section of Analytics.

These can be caused by iframes, security or other blocking software, new AdSense/Analytics integration, timezone settings, and missing Analytics data.

Ensure the Google tag is set up correctly on your website and allow up to 24 hours for data to appear in reports after linking your AdSense and Analytics accounts.

In Summary

The integration of GA4 and AdSense offers a wealth of data insights.

Despite the potential for optimizing website performance and ad revenue, be wary of limitations.

Approach this integration with an understanding of its benefits, drawbacks, and potential for data discrepancies.

At&T Announces Speed Increases, Less Suckage

The iPhone’s sole US carrier, AT&T,  today made some pretty significant announcements at the AllThingsD conference. They will continue to roll out 3G to more markets (20), upgrade to 7.2 Mbs equipment and begin deployment of 4G LTE networks in 2011.  AT&T is also doubling its spectrum and adding more towers to cover more areas including the inside of buildings.  AT&T’s 2009 initiatives also include:

Near-Doubling Radio Frequency Capacity. In 2008 and 2009 to date, high-quality 850 MHz spectrum has been deployed in more than half of AT&T’s 3G network footprint to improve overall coverage and in-building reception, with additional markets planned for later in the year.

More Bandwidth to Cell Sites. We are adding fiber-optic connectivity and additional capacity to thousands of cell sites across the country this year, expanding the critical connections that deliver traffic from a cell site into the global IP backbone network. These upgrades will support the higher mobile broadband speeds enabled by both HSPA 7.2 and LTE.

More Cell Sites. Deployment of about 2,100 new cell sites across the country.

Wi-Fi Integration. Many AT&T smartphones will be able to switch seamlessly between 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. AT&T customers with qualifying smartphone and 3G LaptopConnect plans have access to the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network – more than 20,000 hotspots, including locations in all 50 states – at no additional charge. AT&T’s global Wi-Fi footprint covers more than 90,000 hotspots, and AT&T also can create permanent or temporary extended Wi-Fi zones in areas with high 3G network use, like a grouping of hotels or a festival.

MicroCells. Customer trials leading toward general availability of AT&T 3G MicroCell offerings, which utilize femtocells to enhance in-building wireless coverage.

Press Release follows:

AT&T* today announced plans to upgrade the nation’s fastest 3G network to deliver considerably faster mobile broadband speeds. The network upgrades are slated to begin later this year, with completion expected in 2011.

The upgrade to High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) 7.2 technology is part of AT&T’s plan for continued investments to deliver the nation’s best mobile broadband experience – the ideal combination of speed, coverage and best device line-up. AT&T today has the nation’s fastest 3G network and has attracted more than twice the number of smartphone users than any other competitor.

In addition to the planned speed upgrade, AT&T is enhancing its mobile broadband coverage by nearly doubling the wireless spectrum dedicated to 3G in most metropolitan areas to deliver stronger in-building reception and more overall network capacity. Also, AT&T is adding thousands of new cell site backhaul connections to support the higher mobile broadband speeds enabled by HSPA 7.2 and LTE.

The upgraded network platform could allow for theoretical peak speeds of 7.2Mbps. Typical real-world downlink and uplink speeds experienced by customers with upgraded 3G will be less than the theoretical peak and will vary based on a number of factors, including location, device, and overall traffic on the local network at a given time.

AT&T’s 3G mobile broadband network is now available in nearly 350 U.S. major metropolitan areas, with about 20 additional metro areas planned for deployment in 2009. The HSPA 7.2 technology will be deployed widely in the network, with the benefits of the network upgrade to be announced on a local basis as the faster speeds are turned up. AT&T will introduce multiple HSPA 7.2-compatible laptop cards and smartphones beginning later this year.

The speed upgrade is one of several ongoing initiatives to expand and enhance AT&T’s mobile broadband service. Other key projects in 2009 include:

Capital investment for these projects fits within AT&T’s previously outlined expectation of total capital expenditures for 2009, targeted toward the $17 billion to $18 billion range. AT&T matches this network investment with unsurpassed choice in the range of devices, services and applications compatible with its 3G network. AT&T offers a wide variety of devices from more than a dozen manufacturers, including handsets that are compatible with six different operating systems and five different e-mail applications. Our Media Mall 2.0 offers more than 90,000 content options, and customers can download additional applications over the Internet. Additionally, AT&T supports a community of more than 20,000 application developers via its devCentral portal.

HSPA 7.2 is part of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) family of technologies, which include GSM and UMTS. Emerging LTE technology is also part of the 3GPP technology roadmap, enabling AT&T’s network to offer backward compatibility, or the ability for users with qualifying devices to seamlessly switch among 4G LTE, 3G and 2G service areas to maintain the fastest-available connection. This availability will be critical for customers in the early years of LTE deployment across the industry, when access to LTE service will be geographically limited.
