Suggested April 2024 9To5Mac Gift Guide: Desk Accessories Picks For Any Apple User

The modern world of life is simple. People that use technology spend a lot of time at their desks. As both a developer and writer, I am in front of my MacBook Pro for tens of hours a week.

Here’s some tech picks that can complement your own desk life, and they make great gifts for others too.

Read on for a breakdown of my picks: HomePod, the OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock, LIFX Z Light Strip, Fermata headphone stand and the JOBY iPhone Tripod Mount. Treat yourself (or a friend) …

I have two HomePods in stereo pairs flanking my desk setup. Simply, they sound fantastic. When I’m in the work groove, or just chilling out playing a game, it’s so nice to have music playing on endless loop in the background. Just ask Siri to ‘play some new music’, or be more specific with genres or artists, and you are off to the races.

The HomePod is also great for taking phone calls. When I’m in my home office, when my phone rings I just ask the HomePod to answer the phone. The call is then beamed over the HomePod’s speakers and it uses its six-microphone array to provide clear, high-quality, audio back to the other person. Holding your phone to your ear became a first-world problem so fast for me.

The HomePod gets a lot of flack for being both expensive and functionally lacking. I’m not going to excuse it. I do love them though. The lack of multi-user support is mitigated by the fact I put my HomePods on my desk, essentially in a room where no one else can use it. In terms of price, the base $349 is a stinger but many outlets are offering HomePods at significant discounts. A single HomePod is a great family gift and there will be somewhere it makes sense in your home, whether in your office or your living room.

Use a MacBook Pro or 2023 MacBook Air? Then a great addition to your desk could be a Thunderbolt 3 enabled dock. With the standardization of USB-C connectors on Apple’s laptops, access to legacy I/O like normal USB ports or HDMI out would naively require a whole mess of dongles and adapters.

Thunderbolt 3 docks have a bad reputation for being unreliable; I’ve had nothing but good things to say about them. I plug just one Thunderbolt 3 cable into my MacBook Pro, and my laptop not only charges but connects to my wired keyboard and mouse setup, my external display, and has access to a dozen other ports when I need them.

Aux jacks, HDMI, Thunderbolt 3 daisy-chaining, four USB-A ports, USB-C, SD card slots, and 85W charging. All available with just a single cable when I sit down at my desk with my laptop. What’s not to love about that? I use OWC, but there are many great choices:

I’ve recommended this stand multiple times in previous gift guides, but I’m going to do it again as it continues to be a permanent resident on my desk. I love AirPods, I love my HomePod, but there are still times when I want to wear proper over-ear headphones. Typically, when I’m playing the video game I’m addicted to — League of Legends — I’m wearing MW50s.

The stand offers a nice place to keep them upright, but the reason it sticks around is that it has integrated charging wires inside the base. This means I can charge my wireless headphones through the micro-USB port without needing a lot of ugly cabling. The base also includes another USB-A port that you can trail out a Lightning cable (or whatever) so you can charge your phone too. There’s also a little lip in the stand if you want to hang earbuds.

I use the TwelveSouth Fermata but there are cheaper options available. There’s a competitor on Amazon that has a $20 lower price tag, features three front-facing USB ports, and even has accessible power outlets.

Strip lights have sticky adhesive on one side and a track of LEDs on the other. This means you can stick them on the underside of your desk and provide some multi-colored ambience. I am currently using the LIFX light strip, which has HomeKit control for color and brightness in addition to a dedicated app with different themes and color palettes to cycle through.

The LIFX solution is a nice all-in option for $70. It’s a good gift item as it doesn’t need a hub to use it. If you already have a hub from other manufacturers, then obviously consider them first, like the very-similar offering from Philips Hue.

This is a bit of a wildcard pick, but I do actually keep my tripod on my desk so I’m counting it. The JOBY mount lets you use your iPhone on a tripod as a camera, enabling much more creative photography than what would normally be possible.

You simply snap your phone into the jaws of the mount. The JOBY mount offers a standard tripod connector so you can use it with pretty much everything; this compact Manfrotto tripod is a nice pairing. It’s a cool little gift for anyone with photographer aspirations.

I use the tripod to take product photography or shots of my phone on the desk, but it also comes in handy when family come over for group photos. If you just have a creative spark, you can take some incredible shots with a tripod and an iPhone, whether that is stills or video. I use the Camera Remote app on my Apple Watch to preview and take the photos, or you can use the timer that is built into the Apple Camera app.

9To5Mac Gift Guide: The Best Accessories You Need For Your Mac

While iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch are definitely some of the most desired devices for the holiday season, it can also be a great time to buy a new Mac. Whether you’re about to get your first Mac or even if you already have one, check out our list of the best accessories that will enhance your Mac experience.

Magic Trackpad

With this giant wireless trackpad, users can easily reproduce multi-touch gestures such as precise pinch-to-zoom and smooth scrolling, not to mention the pressure force sensors that enable even more features in macOS. The trackpad has a rechargeable battery, and it comes with a Lightning to USB-C cable. Although the accessory is expensive, it can be really useful for some tasks like editing pictures and videos.

Sensors underneath the trackpad surface detect subtle differences in the amount of pressure you apply, bringing more functionality to your fingertips and enabling a deeper connection to your content. It features a large edge-to-edge glass surface area, making scrolling and swiping through your favorite content more productive and comfortable than ever.

The regular price of the Magic Trackpad is $129, but you can find it at a lower price on Amazon.

Magic Keyboard with Touch ID

Despite all the problems Apple has had with MacBook keyboards in the past, the company’s Magic Keyboard offers a great balance between a compact design and a great typing experience.

This year, the Magic Keyboard has been redesigned with built-in Touch ID for the first time – which means you can securely authenticate your Mac wirelessly through the keyboard (requires a Mac with M1 chip or later). Just like Magic Trackpad, Magic Keyboard also has a rechargeable battery and comes with a Lightning to USB-C cable.

Magic Keyboard with Touch ID delivers a remarkably comfortable and precise typing experience. It’s also wireless and rechargeable, with an incredibly long-lasting internal battery that will power your keyboard for about a month or more between charges.¹ It pairs automatically with your Mac, so you can get to work right away. And it includes a woven USB-C to Lightning Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac.

You can find Magic Keyboard with Touch ID for $149. However, if you don’t have a Mac with M1 chip, Apple also sells a cheaper version of the Magic Keyboard without Touch ID for just $99.

Samsung T7 Portable SSD

Sometimes you buy a Mac with less storage than you really need, and unfortunately there’s no way to upgrade the hardware in these situations. Luckily, if you need some extra storage, the Samsung T7 Portable SSD is one of the best options available.

Available in three colors and with up to 2TB of storage, this external SSD lets you store pretty much anything you want – or you can use it as a Time Machine backup. With transfer speeds of up to 1050MB/s and a USB-C cable, the Samsung T7 Portable SSD is one of those must-have accessories for Mac users.

The light, pocket-sized Portable SSD T7 delivers fast speeds with easy and reliable data storage for transfering large files. Whether you’re storing critical business documents, games, or movies, the Portable SSD T7 gives you speed and durability in a palm-sized package. Introducing the new standard in external storage, available in three capacities to suit your needs: 500GB, 1TB, or 2TB.

It costs from $79.99 to $279.99, but you can find the 1TB version for just $109.99 on Amazon for a limited time.

One of the most important things to have at home (especially if you work there) is a reliable internet connection, but internet speed is not everything – you also need to have good coverage.

Wireless equipment can be quite expensive. But if you want to enhance your Wi-Fi connection without spending a lot, the Linksys WHW0303 is one of the best options available. Linksys WHW0303 is a Wi-Fi Mesh system that creates a single strong wireless network based on multiple routers connected simultaneously.

This version supports Wi-Fi AC and even works with Apple HomeKit, which lets users manage the router through the Home app.

You can buy a kit with three Linksys WHW0303 routers for just $286.99.

Mujjo Sleeve for MacBook

Mujjo creates some of the best leather accessories for iPhone, iPad, and even Mac. And if you have a MacBook, you’ll want to protect it properly to avoid scratches or even accidents.

With Mujjo’s leather Sleeve, you can take your MacBook anywhere without worrying about damages. Besides its high-quality leather, the Mujjo Sleeve is also very sleek and it has storage compartments for documents or even cards. You can find the Mujjo Sleeve for MacBook with prices starting at $69.95 on Amazon.

Anker USB-C Hub

While the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro have multiple ports, including HDMI and SD card reader, other MacBooks (such as the MacBook Air or previous MacBook Pro models) have only a few USB-C connections.

For those who need more than just USB-C ports, the Anker USB-C Hub brings everything you need in a single adapter. You’ll get one USB-C input, two USB 3.0, SD card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, and two HDMI ports with 4K 60Hz support. And of course, it connects to your Mac via a single high-speed USB-C cable.

Equipped with a USB-C port, 2 USB-A data ports, 2 HDMI ports, an Ethernet port, and a microSD/SD card reader, giving you an incredible range of functions—all from a single USB-C port. Measuring just 4.65 × 2.17 inches and weighing less than 4 oz, PowerExpand fits easily into your bag or pocket for effortless portability. Travel pouch included.

The regular price of the Anker USB-C Hub is $80, but you can find it on Amazon for $67.99.

The Best Apple Watch Accessories In 2023

Apple Watch is a great wearable on its own. However, there are many things that you can improve about it using the right accessories. Some accessories enhance certain features and functions of the Apple Watch, while others are there to change and improve the style and overall look of the smartwatch.

The following gadgets are some of the best Apple Watch (Amazon, Best Buy) accessories out there. Whether you’re looking for a protective case or need a way to charge your Apple Watch quicker, we’ve got you covered.

Table of Contents

Your Apple Watch is also a portable music player you wear on your wrist. To make sure you get the best possible sound out of it, you’ll need a pair of wireless earphones. While you can use any set of earbuds with the Apple Watch, if you want a seamless connection and the best sound quality, the natural choice is a pair of AirPods Pro.

Since Apple makes the AirPods, you can pair them with all your Apple devices at once. Once your AirPods are linked up with one of your Apple gadgets, they’ll pair with every other device that’s connected to your iCloud account. That way, you can jump back and forth from listening to music on your Apple Watch to your iPhone, MacBook, and even Apple TV.

You can also use the AirPods Pro to take calls or use Siri on your Apple Watch. Compared to other generations of AirPods, it’s worth getting the Pro version as they sound better, have a better fit, and come with active noise cancellation.

One of the cool things about the Apple Watch is that you can change its look as often as you want. Mainly, you can get custom watch faces and multiple Apple Watch straps. The first only affects the style of your Apple Watch, but choosing the right band can bring you more benefits and extend your watch’s functionality.

If you’re a workout enthusiast and use your Apple Watch as a fitness tracker a lot, a must-have Apple Watch accessory for you is a Nike Sport band.

While there are many sport loop bands available for the Apple Watch, the Nike Sport band seems superior. The synthetic rubber material is breathable and lightweight and will let the water and sweat get through it (unlike stainless steel or a leather strap, for example). The band itself feels smooth, light, and comfortable enough on your wrist to take you through the toughest of workout sessions.

If using the standard magnetic charging cable to charge your Apple Watch isn’t enough for you, the next best option is to get an official Apple Watch charger – the Magnetic Charging Dock for your wearable.

Like other Apple products, it’s got a stylish and elegant look. However, it comes at a price that’s a little more than other similar options on the market. This charging dock is a simple, minimalistic device with only one purpose: to keep your Apple Watch charged at all times. You can also use it to charge your watch at night: Prop your watch on the dock sideways, and you can use it as a bedside clock.

Belkin boost 3-in-1 charging stand with MagSafe is perfect for when you need to charge multiple iOS devices simultaneously. If you’re not just an Apple Watch owner but also a recent iPhone owner, you’ll appreciate the 15W iPhone MagSafe charging speeds, as well as the overall style and look of this watch stand by Belkin.

This wireless charger supports charging 3 of your Apple devices simultaneously. You can use the two magnetic spots for charging your iPhone and your Apple Watch while also using the base of the stand to juice up your AirPods.

The only downside of the Belkin 3-in-1 charging stand is its steep price. You can find cheaper alternatives on the market with magnets that you can use for iPhone wireless charging. However, they won’t have full-speed 15W MagSafe charging as this stand does.

The TimePorter by Twelve South is a great Apple Watch accessory for any traveler. In a nutshell, it’s a 2-in-1 storage and charging case for your wearable. The TimePorter looks like your normal eyeglass case, made of synthetic leather and lined with silicone on the inside. There’s enough space inside the case for your Apple Watch, as well as some accessories, like charging cables, travel adapters, or Apple Watch bands.

The best part about the Twelve South TimePorter is that you can use it to charge your Apple Watch on the go, which makes it a perfect travel case. However, you’ll need to use your own magnetic Apple Watch charging cable to do it. You can use this Apple Watch case to tuck the cable away while placing your watch on top when charging. If you leave the TimePorter open, you can prop up your Apple Watch and use it in Nightstand mode.

The Airbox by Momax is the perfect charging device for those who prefer staying completely mobile. The Airbox allows you to charge your digital timepiece on the go. It comes with an impressive 10,000mAH MFI battery and can charge devices at 10W wirelessly and 20W via Type-C port (meaning it supports the latest 8th Gen iPad).

As this is a multi-device charger, you can use it to charge your Apple Watch, iPhone, AirPods, iPad, and even Apple Pencil. You can also use it to store your gadgets when they’re not in use, which solves the problem of misplacing and losing smaller devices like Apple Pencil or AirPods. On top of that, the foldable design of this power bank makes it look cool and futuristic.

The wireless charging surface is powered by the three charging coils and a separate upright wireless connection spot for your Apple Watch. The charging coils mean that you don’t have to worry about positioning your gadgets in a certain way on the surface. You can put them anywhere and the Nomad base station will still charge them.

The Rugged Armor Pro is made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). While it doesn’t have a direct screen protector, it has a raised bezel around the screen that’s supposed to absorb impacts when you hit your screen and keep it intact. The case looks rugged and tough, and will surely prolong the lifespan of your Apple Watch.

What Apple Watch Accessories Should You Get in 2023?

These are our top picks for the best Apple Watch accessories of the upcoming year. However, there are of course other great gadgets that can enhance your user experience with Apple Watch. To name a few, the Satechi USB-C Magnetic Charging Dock for on-the-go charging and the Twelve South Actionsleeve for turning your Apple Watch into a superb fitness device.

How To Find The Security Identifier Of Any User Account In Windows

If you’ve ever tried to manage File and Folder permissions or browsed through the Registry, you might have seen a long string values, something like “S-1-5-21-3011698416-3634052959-2884390752-500.” These are known as Security Identifiers or SIDs for short. Each and every user will have a unique SID attached to them. If you’ve never heard of SIDs (Security Identifiers), you might be wondering what in the world those are. After all, you will never see these security identifiers in plain sight, e.g, in the Control Panel or in the Settings app.

What Is an SID?

A Security Identifier is a unique string of values that is issued by an authority, like Windows domain controller, to each and every security principal and security group. The security identifier is automatically created when a security principal or group is created. Once the SID is created, it is stored in the security database and is retrieved as and when needed.

Combining the SID and user rights, Windows gives you, the user, an access token every time you log into your system. This access token in turn provides the security context and gives you appropriate permissions and rights to manage your Windows system.

Simply put, SID is one of the important parts of the Windows Security Model.

Other than the automatically generated SIDs, Windows also has a few universal well-known SIDs such as Everyone, Local Authority, World, NT Authority, and All Services. You can find all the well-known SIDs here.

There are many ways to find the SID of a specific user or all users on Windows. I will show a few of them. Use the one that suits your needs.

Find the SID of Current User

To find the SID of the current user, you can use one of two commands, both of them are single-line commands.

First, search for “Command Prompt” in the start menu and open it. After opening the command prompt, execute the below command. It will neatly list your current username of the SID associated with it.

Alternatively, you can use the Windows Management Interface Command (WMIC). Just execute the below command, and it will list the SID and username.

Find the SID of Specific User

If you want to view the SID of a specific user, then all you have to do is replace %username% in the above WMIC command with the actual username of the user.

Once replaced, the command looks something like the following:

Find the SID of All Users

Apart from the user accounts you create, Windows automatically creates some default accounts like the guest, administrator, WDAGUtilityAccount, etc. If you want to find the SIDs of all the users on your system, execute the below command:

There is also a PowerShell command to achieve the same thing. Open PowerShell from the Start menu. Now, execute the below command, and it will list all the SIDs of all users along with their usernames.

Find SID using Registry Editor

To start, search for “regedit” in the Start menu and open it, then go to the following location:

Comment below sharing your thoughts and experiences about using the above method to find the SID of users in Windows.

Beginners Guide To User Roles In WordPress – Webnots

WordPress is the most popular Content Management System (CMS) we have today. It gives its users complete freedom over their sites hence creating magnificent websites with no limitations. WordPress supports different user roles that control who has access to your site and what functions they can perform on the backend of your website. The user role management module is flexible and straightforward, and as your site grows, it’s critical to understand these user roles and permissions. Here is a complete guide of user roles in WordPress for you to understand all the aspects to handle users on your site effectively.

User Roles in WordPress

You can quickly manage the user roles of your website after installation using the basic WordPress user roles administration. Implementing user roles is essential, especially if you are running a blog managed by multiple users. You can allow other people to contribute to your website without fear of breaking it, corrupting the content, or doing anything they shouldn’t.

Below are the user roles available in WordPress single site installation include:

The image below illustrates users with their roles;

WP User Roles

Note: There is a Super Admin role available only for multisite installation. Since, most bloggers use single site WordPress installation, we do not include that role in this article. Super Admin can create and manage network sites and will have all capabilities of administrator.

Roles and Capabilities

User Roles and Capabilities are the two most essential aspects of WordPress user management. The role demonstrates the capacity of multiple people with access to a website to complete the same action, whereas capability grants permission or access to accomplish a task(s) assigned to a specific role.

Here will look at each of these user roles, their purpose, capabilities, and the differences in their roles.

1. Administrator

In WordPress, the Administrator (or admin) is the primary user. That simply means that whoever sets up the site automatically becomes the administrator. Almost everything on the website is under the admin’s control. This job is mainly for site owners and grants you complete authority over your WordPress site. If you’re running a multi-user WordPress site, you’ll want to be cautious about who you give the Administrator user position because of security issues.

The Administrator can perform the following tasks on a site;

Changing other user’s roles by adding permissions.

Admins are capable of changing the website’s theme.

They can add or remove plugins.

They are capable of adding pages and posts.

An Administrator can add new users to the site, edit existing user information, including passwords, and delete any user.

The Administrator can take the website down or put it into maintenance mode when need be.

Administrators have the ultimate power and capabilities to do anything whatsoever on the site. They can do things that other user roles don’t have access to hence not doing them. The image below shows how the Administrator’s dashboard looks like;

Administrator Dashboard

2. Editor

Users with the Editor role in WordPress have complete access to your website’s content sections. They won’t modify how the website works, but they will significantly impact how visitors interact with it. Their roles are;

It is outside their users’ permission to create a theme, install plugins, or add another user. The Editor’s dashboard looks like this;

Editor Dashboard

3. Author

The Author position is the third of the WordPress roles accessible to you. As the name implies, this role is responsible for WordPress permissions such as composing, editing, and publishing posts. Authors can delete both published and draft posts. Authors are only allowed to change their work. From the WordPress dashboard, they will usually only see their work. Their roles include;

When it comes to the author’s capabilities, they won’t be able to change any of your WordPress website’s themes, plugins, or other settings. That means that the author only has control over the post they’re writing and posting; they don’t have any administrative powers. See the Authors dashboard below:

Author Dashboard

4. Contributor

The Contributor WordPress user roles have relatively limited access, as they can only create new posts and change their own. The function of the contributor is relatively similar to that of the author. The distinction is that a contributor, unlike the author, cannot publish a post. Their role is to write posts and submit them for evaluation before the editor publishes them. Contributors are unable to publish any posts, including their own.

They can’t make their own categories, so they have to choose from pre-existing ones. This WordPress user position is best suited for visitors who, of course, contribute material to your site.

A contributor is unable to upload files, leave alone putting images in their articles. Contributors do not have access to settings, plugins, or themes when it comes to capability. That means that they won’t be able to make any changes to the WordPress site. The dashboard of the contributor below:

Contributor Dashboard

5. Subscriber

The subscriber role has the most significant restrictions of any WordPress role. Subscribers are only allowed to complete one task: they must subscribe to your website. These are usually your website visitors that want to sign up for an account. This role is frequently seen on subscription-based WordPress blogs.

Create and Assign WordPress User Roles

In general, users will register on your site as per the roles setup by you as an admin. For example, you can use membership plugins to create custom roles and offer personalized content for different user roles. If you want to offer a subscriber role for users then follow the below instructions.

User Registration Form

After successful registration, you can view the users under “Users” section in admin panel. Since all other roles have higher privileges, make sure to only offer “Subscriber” for new users.

Manually Adding Users with Role

The problem with registration is that you will receive large number of spam emails and you have no control on restricting them. If you do not want to use additional plugin for role management, then the option is to manually create users and assign appropriate roles for them. This is best way to add authors, editors and contributors in your site.

To do this;

Creating WP User Roles

You can also manually create an administrator user. Since, installing and editing themes/plugins need administrator role in WordPress, developers may ask admin access for troubleshooting purposes. In such cases, avoid providing your own administrator credentials. You can create a new admin user and offer the credentials to the developer of your plugin or theme. However, make sure to provide your details to reliable person as admin can copy or delete entire website’s content. In case of any problem, use your own admin credentials to login and delete other admin or change role/password to prevent unauthorized logins.

Custom User Roles in WordPress

Default WordPress roles allow you to manage the content creation process seamlessly. However, they are no more sufficient to handle different types of tasks. Fortunately, there are plugins to manage membership registration and other stuffs for you. Here are some of the example plugins that will create custom user roles in WordPress.

WooCommerce – this plugin will create Customer and Shop Manager roles.

Yoast SEO – it will add SEO Editor and SEO Manager roles.

bbPress – it will add Participant, Moderator, Spectator and Keymaster roles for your forum.

You can view the available roles from “Users” section and change the assignment if needed.

Custom User Roles in WordPress

On other hand, many plugins have configuration to restrict the access for non-admin users. For example, WPBakery page builder plugin has a “Role Manager” that allows you to setup the editor access for different user roles.

WPBakery Role Manager

To conclude, you will realize that at some point, you’ll need the assistance of others to administer your website efficiently. After you’ve assembled your team, the next step is to assign roles to each member. User roles and capabilities are practical tools for limiting what users can do on your site; thus, there’s no need to be concerned about people messing up your website when it’s at the point where it needs assistance. You may do so knowing your website is secure if you assign the appropriate user role or alter an existing one to match your needs.

How To Cancel Apple Tv Plus (On Any Device)

Many of the initial trials of Apple TV Plus are now coming to an end. This means if you’re not willing to pay $4.99 a month for Apple’s media streaming service, it’s your only option is to cancel it. Unless you do so on time, your subscription will renew automatically. With that said, here is how to cancel Apple TV Plus.

Before we proceed, do know that if you decide to cancel Apple TV Plus, your access to this streaming service will end immediately (and not after the last day of your trial). If you plan to finish watching that series you’ve been bingeing, make sure to cancel Apple TV Plus one day before your subscription is due to renew.

How to Cancel Apple TV Plus on an iPhone

The quickest way to cancel your Apple TV Plus subscription is via your iPhone. Make sure you’re logged in to your phone using your Apple ID (the one associated with the Apple TV+ trial you plan to cancel).

1. Launch the “TV” app and make sure to be on the “Watch Now” tab (found in the bottom-left corner).

2. Select the account icon in the upper-right corner of your iPhone screen, and a new window will slide over from the bottom. Pick “Manage Subscriptions.”

3. You’ll now see all your Apple-related subscriptions. Go ahead and select “Apple TV+.” Keep in mind that if you’re subscribed to a bundle such as Apple One, you’ll need to cancel that entire subscription instead.

4. Finally, scroll a bit down and tap on the red button labeled “Cancel Free Trial.” If you use Apple One or standalone Apple TV Plus, it will say “Cancel Apple One” or “Cancel Apple TV+.” Confirm your decision – and that’s it!

How to Cancel Apple TV Plus on Any Browser

Other than from an iPhone, you can also cancel Apple TV Plus via any browser:

2. Log in using your Apple ID credentials.

3. Once you access your Apple TV Plus homepage, select your account icon in the top-right corner, then pick “Settings.”

4. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen, and you’ll see a section called “Subscriptions.” Based on the subscription you use (whether you have a trial, standalone Apple TV+ subscription, or even an Apple One subscription), pick “Manage.”

5. Select “Cancel Subscription.” Confirm your decision – and that’s it. After a couple of moments, cancel your Apple TV+ subscription, effective immediately.
