Whatever the reason, the first solution to fix the auto-correct issue is to restart your iPhone. In case you need some assistance, here’s our guide to restarting your iPhone. If this doesn’t fix your issues, follow these troubleshooting tips.

1. Enable Auto-Correction from iPhone’s settings

There’s also a possibility that you might have turned it off when your iPhone autocorrected your texts often. The best way to start the troubleshooting process is by disabling and enabling the autocorrect feature from your iPhone settings. Here’s how to do it on your iPhone.

Open Settings on your iPhone.

Select General, and then Keyboard.

Solution #1. 20% Battery Rule

One of the first things you’ll notice on FAQs on Apple (for Photo Stream) is this rule: you’ll need to have more than 20% battery for Photo Stream to work. This means… well, you know what this means. Charge up your iPhone before you even think about Photo Stream. Make sure there’s enough battery and a good, solid Wi-fi network (or LTE, but WiFi is preferred always).

Solution #2. Read-only Permissions

Did you change the default folder for Photo Stream in Windows (via iCloud Control Panel)? Well, that’s going to be a problem.

If you change the folder to someplace else, do this:

Read-only permissions can be a pain, especially in Windows. And since Apple uses an external service to modify the content of your Photo Stream, you’ll definitely need to make sure it’s not read-only.

Solution #3. Close Camera App

If you don’t close your camera app, you’re going to have a bad time with Photo Stream sync.

Photo Stream is made to work that way: it’s only when you close the camera that the photos automatically get synced to the Photo Stream and then finally to all your iDevices. No, this doesn’t mean you press the home button after using the camera, and then you run to check the Photo Stream on your iPad.

It means you double-press the home button, and swipe-up the camera app to close it. Whoosh! Your photos should be up there on the Photo Stream. Give it a few minutes, and they should be on all connected devices.

Solution #4. Enable Photo Stream Under Settings, iCloud

Oh, this is such a plain thing. But then, it’s probably not.

Photo Stream needs to be enabled at two (minimum) places in your iDevice.

(a) iCloud

Go to Settings

Tap on Your Name at the top of the list

Tap on iCloud → Photos

Make sure it’s ON

For good measure, enable Shared Photo Streams too

(b) Settings

Go to Settings

Scroll down and tap on Photos

Turn ON “My Photo Stream” if it isn’t already

Turn on “Shared Albums” too for good measure (believe me, this is what triggered the Photo Stream for me although I do entirely doubt the link between this and Photo Stream sync)

Solution #5. Reboot and Reconnect to Wi-Fi

The plain old method is to just reboot the phone.

Or give it a hard reset.

Also, disconnect from Wi-fi from devices where the Photo Stream isn’t synced and then re-connect. For good measure, do the ‘forget network’ routine and re-add the network.

Alright and all done, buddy, but the whole thing still doesn’t work. What to do then?

Of course, restore is not an option if it’s just Photo Stream that ain’t working. I’ll give the “are you kidding me?” look if someone tells me I’ll have to restore my iPhone just because Photo Stream doesn’t work for a while. I’ll just do the ON-OFF toggle and then delete/create albums in Photo Stream till it resumes normal functioning, then restore my iPhone.

How to Determine the Cause of Escape Key Problems

When your MacBook’s ESC key stops functioning properly, the first thing to do is determine the cause. Both hardware and software issues can cause the key to stop working. One of the best ways to determine whether your problem is software- or hardware-related is using the ESC key on your Mac’s virtual (on-screen) keyboard. To do so, follow these steps:

Turn the toggle on next to “Accessibility Keyboard.”

Having a hardware problem means your Mac’s keyboard or some of the internal components have probably suffered damage from solid or liquid debris. In such cases, you may have to repair your ESC key, your whole keyboard, or some of your MacBook’s internal parts at a repair center.

Enter your “Password,” and hit “Unlock” to confirm the process.

Enter the required account information and select “Create User.”

5. Reset Your Mac’s SMC

On MacBook devices powered by Intel, System Management Controller (SMC) saves info on hardware functions, including the Esc key. If you have a faulty ESC key on your Intel-based Mac, resetting the SMC could solve the issue. Follow the steps below:

Touch Id Not Working On Iphone Or Ipad? Try These 9 Fixes!

It’s tedious to enter your iPhone passcode or Apple ID password every time you want to unlock your iPhone, download apps, autofill details, or authenticate Apple Pay transactions.

Thankfully, Touch ID makes these processes a breeze. However, if you’re experiencing issues with your Touch ID, the ease of use comes to a crashing halt.

Thankfully, the solutions here will help you out with what to do when Touch ID isn’t working on your iPhone or iPad.

1. Make sure your finger and fingerprint sensor is dry and clean

If you’re trying to use Touch ID with wet fingers (even if you have a water-resistant iPhone), it won’t work correctly. Therefore, try drying your finger and wipe the Home button with a soft, dry cloth.

Please keep in mind that if you have any liquidy substance like water, hand sanitizer, gel, cream, etc., it will cause problems with Touch ID.

2. Check your iPhone case and screen protector

Is your front screen protector covering the iPhone Home button? Do you use a particular waterproof case that wraps around the entire front and back of the device, blocking the Touch ID?

If the answer is yes, you’ll have to remove the screen protector or case obstructing your finger and the sensor. If this doesn’t fix your Touch ID problems, try the solutions below.

3. Turn Touch ID off and on

Open Settings and tap Touch ID & Passcode. Enter your iPhone passcode.

Toggle off iPhone Unlock, iTunes & App Store, Apple Pay*, and Password Autofill.

Next, restart your iPhone. Once you do that, follow steps 1 and 2, this time toggling everything back on. Enter your Apple ID and password if asked.

Now, lock your iPhone and try to unlock it using Touch ID. It should work like a charm!

Note: You’ll see an important popup saying ‘Your Apple Pay cards and car keys will be removed from Wallet and will need to be manually re-added to use them again. You will not be able to use this passcode to reset your Apple ID password if you forget it.’ Tap Turn Off to confirm turning these settings off.

4. Hard reboot your device

In the above solution, we talked about the simple restart. However, if that didn’t help, let’s take it up a notch and force restart (or hard reboot) your device.

5. Delete and add a new Fingerprint

In Settings, tap Touch ID & Passcode. Enter your iPhone passcode to proceed.

Tap an existing fingerprint. Next, tap Delete Fingerprint. Repeat this process for all fingerprints.

After this, tap Add a Fingerprint and follow the on-screen instructions.

Now, make sure under USE TOUCH ID FOR, the toggle for iPhone Unlock is enabled. Finally, lock the device and try to unlock it via Touch ID.

6. Try turning off the password completely

If none of the above solutions worked for you, disable the password entirely, and set everything up again.

Open Settings and tap Touch ID & Passcode. Enter your current passcode to move further.

Tap Turn Passcode Off. If you see a popup, read it, and then tap Turn Off. You may be asked to fill in your device passcode or Apple ID password or both. Do that and tap Done or Turn Off.

Restart your iPhone, then follow step 1 again.

Tap Turn Passcode On. You might see a popup asking to delete or continue using the saved fingerprints. Tap Keep.

Type the desired passcode and tap Next. It can be the same one you were using moments ago.

Note: To choose an alphanumeric or 4-digit code, tap Passcode Options. Type the passcode again to confirm and tap Done. You may be prompted to enter your Apple ID password. Do that and tap Sign In.

After following the steps above, you should be able to use Touch ID without any hiccups.

7. Reset your Network Settings

This will completely erase all saved Wi-Fi passwords, added Bluetooth devices, VPN configurations, mobile data options, and other similar settings. However, it won’t erase any personal data like music, apps, photos, etc.

Open Settings tap General, then scroll down and tap Reset.

Now, tap Reset Network Settings → Enter your device passcode → Confirm by tapping Reset Network Settings.

After you’re finished, Touch ID should work again.

Note: If resetting the Network Settings didn’t help, you may proceed with the factory reset, which erases everything!

With each iOS update, Apple publishes bug fixes, adds new features, and attempts to improve the overall experience. Since you’re having problems with Touch ID, I recommend updating your iPhone.

If none of these solutions worked, it’s possible that your device has a manufacturing defect or suffered a hardware problem due to some impact.

It’s best to contact Apple Support or an authorized service center, find out the exact reason, and get the problem fixed.

Can’t activate Touch ID on iPhone or iPad?

Check your Cellular Connection

First off, ensure that 3G/4G is enabled on your device. This may sound obvious, but sometimes basic details slip our minds. So, it’s better to check them upfront—you might save yourself a lot of time.

Head over to Settings → Cellular/Mobile Data. Make sure it’s toggled on.

Then, tap Cellular/Mobile Data Options → Enable 4G → Choose Voice & Data.

Turn Mobile Data on/off a few times. It might solve the issue immediately.

Toggle Airplane Mode

Turning on Airplane Mode and then turning it off after a few seconds might solve the 4G/3G or LTE connectivity. To do so: swipe up on the iPhone home screen (On iPhone X Series or later, swipe down from the top-right corner) and Turn On and Off Airplane Mode.

Remove the SIM Card/Restart your iPhone
