Suggested January 2024 5 Ways To Use Social Profiles To Get Quality Links

Using company or personal online profiles to generate links is a tricky subject.

Some people think it is spammy or misleading, especially when someone creates profiles for the sole purpose of getting links.

Even though a few shady marketers have twisted the purpose of profiles, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it in a genuine way.

It is possible to have real profiles that share your information, background, and accomplishments, while also using it for more than just a way for people to find you online.

Having online profiles on the main social networks and websites your core audience visit is not only important to online visibility, but it can help you grow your network, which can organically lead to more inbound links for your content.

Below are five of the best ways to use profiles to help get quality links.

1. Outreach with an Executive’s Profile for Better Response Rates

Connections made with a real person get higher engagement and provide better trust than the same activities done with a company profile.

Many online users have learned to ignore messages and requests from brands on social networking sites, simply because there are just too many companies on there trying to get users to buy their products or share their content.

Personal connections continue to matter. It is possible to use network building as a way to share content on an individualized basis, but it does take some work to grow the relationship first.

Some digital marketing teams log into executive’s personal profiles to add friends or connections, or to follow-up with existing contacts to help build relationships.

This helps executives get to know others in the industry, which can lead to a reciprocal relationship of sharing and promoting each other’s content.

However, while this seems like a good way to offload some of the social networking, it can have a lot of potential drawbacks.

If the executive doesn’t know what was said and then happens to talk to the connection in person or on the phone (or even in email), it can make them seem disingenuous and untrustworthy.

If a team is helping an executive with their social media, make sure they are still involved in the process.

2. Forum Profiles Can Be Used to Build Relationships with Highly Technical People

Most people are on the basic social networks, like LinkedIn and Facebook.

But there are many more niche networks and forums that are commonly used daily by those that are deeply involved in a certain industry.

Try to find these online communities and get more involved.

You’ll find that there is often more depth to the questions and discussions, leading to a lot of good opportunities to build trust and get others interested in your content (provided it’s useful to the discussion at hand).

Some sites to check include:

Reddit, which has thousands of “subreddits” or threaded discussion boards based on a specific topic.

Github, which is a portfolio hosting and online community for programmers and developers.

Because these are highly technical forums, it doesn’t make sense to go in and start spamming discussions with your links.

Try to integrate with the community by answering questions, getting involved, completing your profile, and staying active before even attempting to share your own content.

When you share your content, make sure it’s actually useful to other users. Otherwise, you may find yourself being ostracized for trying to commercialize the discussion.

3. Use LinkedIn to Share Your Content with the Right People

When possible, ask your executives to get involved with your online activity or set up a sharing schedule (with their permission) to regularly share content on their personal social media profiles.

LinkedIn is the perfect platform for this, as executives can have their own profiles and can share content as needed.

Because executives have more personal credibility, their link suggestions are much more like to be taken seriously by users than a company profile simply sharing links to their blog.

The executive’s profile is “vouching” for the content, making it more trustworthy.

Users like hearing the opinions of influential or high profile people, so adding this personal touch can help increase interest.

4. Reach out to the Social Profiles of People Who Are Authorities

LinkedIn is great for building personal credibility and sharing content, but you can also use Twitter, forums, and Facebook to do outreach and get others interested in your content.

On Twitter (and Instagram), it’s a common practice to follow people in your industry you hope will follow you back.

Taking the “first step” toward building a relationship can help get you noticed organically and hopefully start a relationship.

After following someone, send them a tweet mentioning something they did recently, such as podcast they were on or an article they wrote.

This can show that you admire their work.

People are much more likely to take an interest in someone that they know already appreciates what they do – because it doesn’t feel like they have to win them over – it’s already done!

Building genuine relationships with influencers or authorities in your field can be a fulfilling way to not only grow your online visibility, but to also learn from some of the best minds in the business.

As these influencers and authorities begin to trust you, you can ask them about sharing your links or if there is a way you can continue to help one another promote new ventures and projects.

5. Promote Your Content with Facebook Ads to Drive Traffic, Shares & Links

WordStream founder Larry Kim is a master at getting tons of traffic to his content, and he has shared in presentations and in blog posts how this strategy has lead to big gains. He even did a webinar about this topic for SEJ.

Essentially, with the right targeting and even as little as $50, you can get your content in front of the right people on Facebook.

When you have clear and concise targeting, the ad spend is lower, and the user interest is usually a lot higher.

Try to target exact interests or industries (e.g., manufacturing VPs in the U.S. instead of simply users who have an interest in “business”) and make sure your content title and description shares exactly how it is useful to the people you’re trying to target.

As the ad garners more visibility, you’ll see a trend in natural links as well, as users who see the ad share the content with their own networks.

This helps it grow organically, making your ad budgets stretch much further.

Conclusion

Getting shares and links for your content using online profiles and personal outreach certainly isn’t the fastest way to build links, but it is one of the most genuine and usually has the greatest long-term impact.

As you grow your network, you’ll find that people are more likely to share content from people they know, like, and trust.

By focusing on building your online profiles by staying active, sharing interesting and relevant information, and promoting the work of others, you’ll find that it often comes back to you in a big way.

Summary

Timeframe: 10-20 forums per month

Results detected: It will likely take more than 30 days to see the first round of links come in, but typically you will see results with link building in 3-6 months, depending on a large number of factors.

Average links per month: The number of links should depend on how competitive the targeted keywords are or how aggressively you want to build Domain Authority. But a base program should have 10-15 links per month, minimum.

Tools:

BuzzSumo

Upfluence

Facebook

Benefits:

This type of program will generate highly contextual links from natural relationships, which is how Google seems to intend links to be built. This is a very low-risk link building program.

5 Ways To Improve Video Quality On Any Device

Professional Video Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, PowerDirector, Movavi Video Editor Plus, Davinci Resolve Studio

Free Video Editing Software: iMovie (free for Mac, iPhone, & iPad), OpenShot, Shotcut, Kdenlive, Blender3D, VideoPad.

Online Video Editors: Flixier, Clideo, Kapwing.

Load or import your video. Most video editors will require you to load or import your video. Online video editors will require you to upload the video. You can usually find the option to import or load a video in the “File” menu.

Drag the video file into the timeline. The timeline is what you use the edit the video. It is usually at the bottom of the screen. Once you load or import a video, it will usually be added to your project library. Drag the video clip from your library to the timeline at the bottom of the screen.

Apply a sharp filter to your video. A sharp filter is typically found in the filters and effects menu. A sharp filter makes the video image appear crisper by identifying the edges in a video image and shrinking them. If your video editor includes an option to adjust sharpness, increase it for better quality.

Apply a blur, soften, or smooth filter. These effects can be found in the filters and effects menu of any video editing application and can be effective in removing unwanted artifacts such as graininess or scratches in analog video files. Experiment with these filters to determine which of them produces the best results. You will likely only need to apply a small amount.

Use color correction filters to adjust the color. Color correction filters, such as brightness, contrast, levels, hue, and saturation filter to improve the light, shadows, and color balance of a video file. Most video editing applications will contain these or similar features located in the effects and filters menu. Experiment by applying each separately to determine which combination of filters produces the best results.

Use noise reduction, or video denoising, to improve video quality. Video de-noising is a process by which analog ‘noise’, such as lines, dots, color degradation, and various other unwanted artifacts can be removed or diminished. The video denoising filter typically will be found in the effects and filters menu of the video editing application.

If your video editing software does not have a video stabilization tool, you can stabilize videos for free online.

Use de-interlacing options. Video interlacing is a process in which every other line of an image is scanned and alternated in each frame. Progressive scans that display each line in each frame produce better-quality images. Different de-interlace options work better for different video formats. The de-interlace options may be in the filters and effects menu, or it may be an option you select when you render or export a video.

Use a post-processing filter to automatically adjust the interpolation. Most video editing apps contain a post-processing tool typically found in or near the filters and effects menu. Locate and select the post-processing tool to improve video quality.

Render the video in MP4 format using the H.264 codec. When you are happy with the way your video looks, you can render it. The option to render or export a video is typically found under the File menu. When you render or export a video, you will be asked to choose a file format. The most common file format is MP4 using the H.264 codec.

How To Track An Iphone: Best 5 Ways To Use

Apple is known to provide really good integration between its devices, thus also making theirs one of the best ecosystems in the tech world. If you want to track your iPhone, whether that’s because you lost or simply forgot where you had put it, you have numerous ways to do that. You can take a look at the list of options below find and track an iPhone’s location.

Using Find My app

Earlier labeled as the Find My iPhone app, Apple’s Find My app combines the latter’s features with the Find My Friends app to not only help you track your phone but also remotely lock it, and erase all of the data on the lost device. One good thing about the Find My app is that it can be used from any of your other Apple devices or your friend’s devices.

Prerequisites:

Before you wish to track your iPhone using the Find My app, you need to make sure that the Find My iPhone service is enabled on it. At the same time, it’s important to know that the Find My iPhone service and Find My app are two different things and you don’t need to install the Find My app on the phone you’re about to track to get started.

You can enable the Find My iPhone option on your iPhone by opening the Settings app on your home screen and tap on your name at the top.

On the next screen, select ‘Find My’.

No, tap on the ‘Find My iPhone’ option.

On this screen, toggle on the ‘Find My iPhone’ option.

You will be prompted to enable Location Services in a dialog box that pops up on the screen. In this box, tap on ‘OK’ to enable location right away.

For better tracking, you can also enable the ‘Send Last Location’ option so that your iPhone sends its last location to Apple before the battery dies.

On another iPhone you own

If you have more than one iPhone and all your devices are linked to your Apple account, then you can use the Find my app on another iPhone you have to track the iPhone that you’re searching for. To do this, open the Find My app on your secondary iPhone and sign in with your Apple ID and password if you aren’t already signed in.

After you’ve signed in to your Apple account, tap on the ‘Devices’ tab at the bottom of the app’s home screen.

You will be able to see all the devices that are linked to your account. Select the iPhone you want to track.

If the Find My iPhone service was enabled on the phone you’re tracking, its location should appear on the map.

If you’re in close proximity to the iPhone but you still can’t find it based on the location given on the map, you can play a sound on the lost device to locate it with better accuracy. To do this, swipe up from the bottom and select ‘Play Sound’ to make your iPhone hearable.

You will also have options to mark your device as lost and erase it in case you aren’t able to find your iPhone.

On someone else’s iPhone

Apple lets you and your family members share access to Apple services like Apple Music, Apple TV+, and more using the Family Sharing feature. The feature also allows anyone in your family to locate someone else’s iPhone as long as they’re linked to the same Family Sharing account.

Prerequisites:

You will need to follow the onscreen instructions and add your family members to the group to be able to locate their devices.

In addition to this, you need to enable the ‘Share My Location’ switch inside the Family Sharing screen so that your location is shared with everyone in your family group.

How to track your family member’s iPhone

When you have shared your location with members of your family group, they can track your location or the whereabouts of your missing iPhone. To locate your phone from your family members’ iPhone, open the Find My app and look for your name listed inside the ‘People’ section.

Select your name to know your iPhone’s location on the map. Similar to viewing your Apple devices, a member in your family will be able to help you track your iPhone by ringing it using the ‘Play Sound’ function.

On an Android device

Here, sign in to your Apple account by entering your Apple ID and then your password.

After successfully logging in to your account, tap on the ‘Find iPhone’ option inside the iCloud home screen.

In the next page, select the iPhone that you want to track.

When you select your iPhone, its location will appear on the map. You will be able to pinpoint your iPhone’s location by tapping on the ‘Play Sound’ option. In case you aren’t able to find your iPhone, you will get options to mark it as lost or erase all data on it.

You can perform this method on a non-Mac computer as well after signing in to your Apple account.

On a Mac

If the device has the Find My iPhone turned ON and is connected to the internet, it will appear on the map. The device will show the “No location found” message if it can’t be located.

Notify When Found will send you a notification when the location is available.

Play Sound can be used to ping your iPhone’s speakers with sound so that you can pinpoint its location when you are near it.

Select Directions to get a turn-by-turn guide to get to your iPhone physically.

Use Erase This Device only when you’re sure you won’t be able to track your iPhone and you don’t want the data inside of it to get on anyone else’s hands.

Using Google Maps Timeline

Similar to Apple, Google can also help you track the physical whereabouts of all your devices using the Google Maps app. The app has a timeline feature that gives you an overview of all the places you’ve been with your phone. If location history is enabled on your iPhone, you can check where exactly you might have last used your phone, whether or not is it still active and when and where was it last active from.

Prerequisites:

You need to have the Google Maps app installed on your iPhone (the one you want to track) and enable Location Services and Location History on your Google account. After installing the Google Maps app, tap on your profile picture at the top right, and select ‘Settings’.

In the Settings screen, tap on ‘Personal content’ under the ‘Account Settings’ section.

Make sure that you enable ‘Location Services’ and ‘Location History’ inside the ‘Personal content’ screen.

How to track your iPhone

Once you’ve taken care of the above prerequisites, you will be able to track your iPhone at any time as long as it’s connected to the internet. If your phone went missing, go to Google Maps Timeline using a web browser (on a phone or computer) or ‘Your timeline’ (inside the Google Maps app on a smartphone) and select the date you last had your device.

Scroll down to the last location that was registered from your iPhone. This will be when your phone was last online or where you might have lost it.

Using your Apple Watch

You can use your Apple Watch to track your iPhone but only when it’s within the proximity of your Watch’s Bluetooth range or the WiFi network. Tracking with the Apple Watch is done using the ping feature that will start ringing your iPhone for a brief period.

To use your Apple Watch to track your iPhone, turn on the watch’s screen by pressing the digital crown.

When the watch screen wakes up, swipe up from the bottom to open the ‘Glances’ screen.

Swipe right on the Glances screen until you reach the ‘Settings’ screen.

Tap on the Ping button that will be positioned under the Airplane Mode, Do Not Disturb, and Silent Mode options on the screen.

When you tap on the ping button, your iPhone will ring out a sound for a brief time so that you can locate it physically. The ping function will play a sound on your iPhone, even if the device is in Silent mode.

You can tap on the Ping button as many times as you want to locate your iPhone.

For better aiding your iPhone tracking, you can tap and hold the ping button on your Apple Watch. This will start flashing your iPhone’s LED light so that you can locate it during the night or when you don’t want your phone to make a sound.

Using Live location sharing

The following method can be used to track your iPhone from someone else’s iPhone and also makes use of Apple’s Find My iPhone feature. However, unlike the method mentioned above, the iPhone that’s tracking your device need not be a member of your family. Tracking is possible using live location sharing that’s done using the Messages app.

Prerequisites:

Before you start tracking your iPhone, open the Messages app on your iPhone and start a conversation with the person you want to share your iPhone’s location with.

Now, tap the name of person you want to share location with and then tap on ‘Info’.

On the next screen, tap on the ‘Share My Location’ location and select the duration for which you want to share your location for.

You can choose from these three options – Share for One Hour, Share Until End of Day, and Share Indefinitely.

Choose ‘Share Indefinitely’ to share your location for the longest duration.

How to track

Your friend will now be able to locate you in their Find My app. To locate your iPhone from this person’s iPhone, open the Find My app on their phone, and select your device from the ‘People’ section. You will now be able to view your iPhone’s current or its last reported location.

Using a third-party tracker app

Besides Apple’s own searching techniques, you can track your iPhone using a GPS tracking app. There are third-party apps that you can use to locate your iPhone and these will offer additional features like geofencing, location history, panic button, chat functionality, and more. You can choose from the following apps to track your iPhone better:

These are all the ways you can track your iPhone. Did we miss anything out? If yes, let us know what you use to locate your iPhone.

How To Create And Use Multiple User Profiles For Microsoft Edge

Up until recently, the best browser for using multiple profiles was Google Chrome. They were the first to add the function back in 2023. Other browsers added the feature, but they weren’t as intuitive as Chrome’s profiles feature.

Recently, though, the new Microsoft Edge came on the scene with a multiple profiles feature. Because it’s built on Chromium, the feature works similarly to the Chrome versions. So if you like using various profiles but would rather not use Google, you can use Edge.

How to create a new profile

You can create another profile for a family member or separate user profiles for personal use and work use, among other reasons for creating a new profile.

Here’s how to create a new user profile.

2. Select “Add a profile.”

4. A new Edge browser window will appear. This action will also create a new, blank user profile called “Profile 1” (or Profile 2 if you already have a profile called Profile 1).

5. If you have another Microsoft account, you can log into it on this screen.

9. Select Edit.

10. Change the name of the profile and the icon if you want to personalize it.

If you want to be able to sync the information on this browser to other devices, you will need to create a Microsoft account for it. Otherwise, you can only use it on one computer. Doing this will also let you use other images for your user profile than the pre-made ones you use in a local account.

Switching between profiles

Separate user profiles are a useful feature. In fact, you can use each profile without closing the others, so if you feel like taking a break from your work browser, you can switch to your personal profile and leave the other open in the background. That’s one way to have a little fun when work gets dull.

Links Ahoy! Turn Copied Content To Instant Links

“Content is King” would probably be one of the greatest online myths of all time (well for me at the very least). Yes, we all know and agree that great content will always be invaluable, but great content in a mediocre website? It’s like having a great and wise king alone in an old crumbling castle waiting to disappoint bandits with no loot (poor raiders IMHO!).

What I’m saying here is that design and usability is as important as ever today. Great content, to be well appreciated, deserves a well-designed and usable home. By not making your content readable, consumable, share-able, and what not, what’s the point? You’ll never attract bandits to steal your content (having raiders clamoring for your content = epic win!)!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not for content pirates and scrapers, but be informed that there’s a new way of looking at people who actually copy your content for the sake of admiration, approval, and mere quotation. Take a look at Tynt, the copy/paste service.

So What Does it Do?

Tynt as a Traffic Driver

Tynt is in essence an automated link attribution service, which means that any snippet of content copied from your blog or website and then pasted onto other webpages, social networks, or email, will automatically include a URL back to your original content page.

Aside from having all of these links driving traffic back to your site, another important aspect of this would be on the user-side of things where readers are informed directly of the content’s original source–sort-of-like-a-human-front-end version of the canonical tag eh?

Tynt as a Link Building Tool

Good news to SEOs, having an automated link attribution service running on your site will make link building much less of a hassle. All you have to do is add great content (and I do mean great) and you have another avenue to generate links from.

Tynt Link Attribution Setup

Tynt as Engagement Analytics

On top of making your content work harder by automatically sending you traffic through inbound links, Tynt adds icing on the cake by making everything measurable (Yes! Measurable!). Basically, you can measure how much content was copied from your pages, what pages content was copied from, where your content was pasted, to how much traffic all of these link attributions sent back to you site.

Tynt also provides users with heat maps of the pages where content was copied from, thus adding more value to webmasters who constantly work hard on improving their properties–just imagine amount of insight you can derive from all this data.

Tynt Insight – Analytics

Tynt Insight – Page Analytics

What’s the Catch?

I’ve probably given you the most concise review of Tynt’s service and I guess it’s about time for me to tell you what’s hiding underneath this golden sheath. Well, sad to say you get all of this for the minimal price of…uhm it’s FREE!

However, take note, nothing’s perfect and thus I’ll share with you the lowdown of some the improvements I would definitely appreciate from Tynt.

2. URL Shortening – based on behavior a lot of real people share content via social media, we have Facebook, Twitter, and of course Google Buzz. The problem when people copy snippets of content from our site is that Tynt displays the full path of the URL and (again at least for now) doesn’t detect if content is being shared on character-dependent services like Twitter.

3. Content Pirates and Scrapers – there are two types of content pirates, the automated robots who scrape the web for content and the copycat who’s so lazy and desperate he/she can’t write his/her own. Correct me if I’m wrong but I do think that by having Tynt running, we’ll have less problems with robot scrapers because we’ll have attributed links pointing back to us on all of these pages. However, people who manually copy content can easily remove the automated links generated by Tynt. My question is, can Tynt actually track content piracy with out the generated link? This is me thinking of having a Copyscape-like tool running on my site.

4. Content Type – simple question is, is Tynt’s service limited to text as of the moment? It would be interesting to see how their service can evolve to include videos, images, and other objects as well.

Is it Difficult to Apply?

Not quite, it’s as simple as registering your site and pasting a script much like GA on your site or blog template and your done. It took me roughly a minute or less registering and installing it myself.

We Want to See it Work!

As much as I’m hesitant to do a shameless plug (but I have to for the sake of your first hand experience!), kindly check out my site at SEO Taoist, my Internet marketing philosophy blog and really read through my articles (let’s keep the experience real guys!). If you find anything interesting, a snippet of content you really like for example, share it to your friends through your blog or social media and from there you’ll see how Tynt works–it’s currently running on my site.

To make you creatively appreciate Tynt more, please do bother and take a look at my article about mind control and local search and see how you can be a link genius by leveraging on choice architecture and reciprocation with the help of Tynt.

Journey in the Finance World!!!

Has everyone told you before that in your journey of Getting a finance job from engineering, you must have a master’s degree in Finance? Is this what is pulling you back? Yes, you can get a finance job after completing your engineering degree. Have you considered all options you have for that? Or have you just listened to others and thrown that Finance dreams out of your system already? You can get into the finance field by completing your MBA or CFA. These are well-known and traditional ways of getting into finance, but they are not the only way. So what are the other routes? The following few lines will cheer you up!!! Let’s get you sorted…

If you opt for an MBA, you need a graduation degree to enter into MBA finance. It would be best to give competitive exams to make yourself eligible for a good MBA college. Candidates can begin preparation during the third year by enrolling in training institutions and gaining some knowledge.

One needs to complete engineering with at least 50% marks. The candidate’s performance in their engineering academics will help in the later stages of the selection process. Hence, the candidate must focus on performing well in engineering semesters and entrance exams.

Before considering Finance after engineering, one needs to figure out why one wants to do an MBA or get into Finance. And hence one should not get into Finance merely to become a manager in a reputed organization.

You are getting a finance job after engineering improves career prospects. However, before becoming a manager, you can gain work experience and understand how businesses function.

If the candidate wants to shift from engineering to Finance, he/she needs to understand the difference between the two fields and have a passion for the field of Finance. Some self-examination combined with some research on Finance will help determine the goal.

If you pursue MBA or any other degree in Finance after gaining some work experience, you will be in a better position to grasp the course contents and apply them appropriately to your work.

Employers won’t doubt your quantitative skills or your attention to detail.

Depending on your experience, you can convince the employer that you can work long hours relatively efficiently.

Also, you have options outside of investment banking that lawyers and accountants cannot access.

Ways to Spin Your Resume Successfully!!!

Get your “story” set. (Why Finance after engineering?)

Plan out your recruiting strategy.

Identify which firms you will contact and what fields of Finance you’re most interested in.

The next and most crucial step is to craft a winning resume. Here’s how you can do that:

Step 1:

Use some investment banking resume templates if you are unsure how to structure the perfect resume. All the templates are available online, and you can select the one which best suits you and get it to download.

Step 2:

Pick some experiences that you would like to highlight the most. These may include what you’ve done during the entire finance course, summer internship projects, Business competitions, or any other significant activities where you have displayed your leadership quality.

Step 3:

Rephrasing your resume in business and finance rather than using extensive jargon or some engineering lingo is best.

During the Interview Process!!!

Are you genuinely interested in Finance?

Why Finance after an engineering degree?

Don’t you feel you have wasted “Four Years of Engineering”?

Have you learned enough about accounting and Finance to compete with commerce students?

Do you have the stamina and passion for working 100-hour weeks?

Do you like to communicate with people?

The 100-hour of work question can be answered quickly. You may talk about all the lab work you had to do during your engineering degree. Focus on all the last-minute projects you have worked on or the experience you gained during your summer internship or full-time job if you have previous work experience.

You may talk about exciting companies, IPOs, or stocks to prove your interest in Finance. You may stick to some unusual companies or success stories rather than opting to talk about common companies, as everyone is bound to do the same. Talk about any investment you’ve made or any recent market news which displays your market awareness.

To answer technical questions, you can get access to some interview guides, or you can also join financial modeling programs that will teach you everything you need to know.

To answer the questions related to your interpersonal skills, you must be polished and well-prepared. Do not hesitate or get confused while answering such questions. The best way to get good at this is to practice with any friends who are smooth talkers.

Make sure that all your answers are crisp and to the point. Do not run around the same bush again and again.

It’s Time to Answer the Technical Questions!!!

Since you do not have a finance background, employers may have lower expectations regarding technical questions. But this does not mean that you ignore them. You must know all the basic concepts, for example, fundamental accounting and valuation questions. Be thorough with all three financial statements, how they are linked together, how to walk through changes to the financial statements, and how to value a company.

Be Prepared with “Plan B.”

You prepared your story, crafted an excellent resume, and have gone through all the technicalities of Finance, but what if you do not get a job in the desired investment bank? You came out of the interview room with no offers. Are you already thinking that Getting a finance job in engineering is indeed difficult? Do not panic, and don’t get depressed. It’s not the end of the world for you. Keep other options open as well. Also, consider Finance Roles Outside of Investment Banking. Some of the alternatives are as follows.

Corporate Finance

Corporate finance jobs include working for a company and managing the capital necessary to run the enterprise.

Commercial Banking
